The owner, I think her name is Naveera, was very kind with her guidance and suggestions. I was only looking for young kids' clothes size 2 years to 3 years. The things I liked, unfortunately, the size was not available, but I decided to buy a few sets. Like other desi businesses, price tags were missing, so I hesitated to pick up the clothes. The person who was helping me said, don't worry about the prices, we will manage, I looked at her, and she seemed sincere, so I told her I was more interested in the one she didn't have the size available. She said these are very nice and again she will give me reasonable prices. She took all my stuff to the counter, and usually, the person who helped likes to write down the invoice so they know what customers' needs were. When I went to the counter, there was this gentleman. I am sure the owner greeted me and started questions like is this my first visit, where I am from etc., now. Macy's or target will not ask you for personal things, so enjoy might it last. My sales lady was standing next to him packing the stuff. After a long conversation, I held the bag and rushed out because I got late for the second appointment. I came home and checked. I was charged a completely unknown amount (no price tag items), and no discount was provided from the sales personas promised. Yes, it's my fault. I should have checked my receipt before leaving the store, so I called them and asked for the same person who could help me. So I asked her what happend? She replied I didn't say anything, so she charged me full prices. I wondered what was the total cost since there were no price tags? So here is the Red Flag. If they say don't worry, we will take care of the price at the counter, do not pick the item till you know the price. I hope this can save you some frustrations.

My friends and I had our fairly regular brunch date, and someone mentioned going to Harwin after to try on lehengas in preparation for our friend's mehndi party. One of my friends in the group was apprehensive about shopping, but we ended up going. The future bride took us to Roop Sari Palace and showed us the way including the aunties that helped us find dresses in our size. It's basically by bra size in inches. There were so many to choose from that it was a little bit overwhelming at first. Everything was just so beautiful. I literally wanted a couple of them and was torn between two before I settled on one. I must've tried 8-9 different ones which aren't that easy to get on/off. We spent 3 hours there. I even saw some in the kids section that I thought would be fine so that I wouldn't have to hem the long lehenga skirt. I actually didn't try any from the kids section though. Lol. There are only 2 dressing rooms that are small. You could barely hang up 2 or 3 pieces because the skirts are so full, and some have a petticoat. We and other young ladies shared them going in and out at times and asking for our phones or shoes. It felt like a fashion show similar to the movie 27 Dresses where she tries on all of her bridesmaids dresses. There was one particular auntie who was helpful and brought us more lehenga designs we might like, tighten the skirt or plete/drape the dupatta. Mine was on sale for a fair price considering all the beading/sequins, and our bride-to-be friend did some price bargaining for our other friend. I had to get mine altered since the lehenga was too long, and I lost so much weight after purchasing it 5 months ago. I took it to a tailor, but they do offer tailoring here. I didn't want to drive all the way back here just for that. It's a beautiful, traditional lehenga, and I enjoyed wearing it at the mehndi party and got many compliments. I hope I get to wear it again or at least pieces of it for different occasions. I'm told there are plenty of other stores nearby like this one, so I'm sure you're bound to find something you like that fits your fancy.

I've come back to this store maybe once a month for the past two years ever since. They carry a wide selection of clothing from casual t-shirts and sweaters to fancier dresses and blouses. Recently, they've been carrying a collection of screen printed t-shirts with the Houston skyline on them which is the perfect gift for a resident/native Houstonian. Late last year, during football season, they were even selling college football themed shirts. They also host a variety of decorative signs for the home. I've purchased several of these for myself and as gifts for friends. Their jewelry collection fluctuates between seasons; sometimes they'll have a lot of options, sometimes they won't. As for shoes, there are probably a dozen different pairs sold each season. All in all, a perfect place to stop by and waste an hour especially if you are dining in Kings Harbor.

I was then planning on again just grabbing things and then trying them on at home instead of the cramped dressing room (i have MST and get extremely stressed in tight spaces) only to be told that they would only be final sale only and I couldn't exchange them once I leave the store. What was supposed to be a 10 minute stop turned into over an hour of having to sift through items equaling the amount I was hoping for, additionally wasn't allowed to use the 15% I was promised due to my first visit. The employee that was working was always lovely and apologetic, even though it is the owners poor management, poor training and lack of basic store policies that made each experience dreadful. I had high hopes for this place since it was located between my work and home, however, I'd highly recommend not shopping here. The owner left and nasty response to me on google and took it down later. Telling me I should have reached out to her, although she was on the phone with her employee and could have offered to take my name and number down to get back to me when her personal life has settled down.
