Daisy Jane's has stuff like gourmet candy ( try the chocolate covered potato chips yummy) They have one corner of the store with Authentic African clothes, jewelry exc.. There are still some nice shops here even though there are no real anchor stores, except maybe Dicks Sporting goods. I like Lost Worlds, Dumb Records, and some nice clothing stores. I wish some other stores could be coaxed in. Maybe they could try things they did in the past, such an antique shows, fashion shows for fall and spring, and the holidays. Years ago, they had first responders and police departments displaying vehicles and doing fingerprinting for children. A Costco would be nice or a furniture store. Update. Went to the mall today and saw the Christmas trees. It was very well done, I hope for more people to participate next year!! Maybe they could contact a train group and have them set up a christmas train. Or the mall could utilize the empty store fronts and put in some decorations in the windows. Some additional photo opportunities would also be nice. Gingerbread cookies would be a hit as would live christmas music or swing choirs. Contact schools and churches. I wanted to get my mother's 1969 wedding dress made into a getting-ready-robe and veil. If any material was leftover I was hoping for bouquet wrap and a special something to gift to my mom. Wendy created a fabulous robe, beautiful veil with the lace from her dress, wrap for my flowers and a precious handkerchief for my mom by using a square of her gown and then cut-out a piece of lace and sewed it on one side. Seeing my mother hold this walking down the aisle is priceless. Our wedding took place in another city so all of my vendors were remote. I really wanted to someone local to do this (shop small!). This was such a special, positive experience so I will always be grateful to Wendy - she is just so, so talented. Her daughter, Erin, is who I dealt with at the shop and Erin was the best! I cannot recommend Stitches by Wendy enough.

I love, love, love the $1 rack at this store. They have a little bit of everything in this store…read more A small toy section, kids clothes up to size 14. Nice little "pen" for kids to play in while you shop. And have I mentioned the fabulous $1 rack that they have available all the time! Everytime I visit my in-laws I stop by and pick up 10 things from the dollar rack, why the heck not...it only costs a dollar! And a lot of it is Name Brand or Boutique-style stuff, good quality.
