I bought three dresses (wasn't sure about one of them) but was told you have a week to return it (with the receipt ) Ok , simple. Four days later I returned it, with the receipt, and I put it on a velvet hanger ( I had thrown out the bag) I had taken the price tag off but reattached it with a small gold pin. The manager said they can't take it back because the price tag was removed (never was it mentioned by the staff that the price tag being removed was an issue ) I said Can't you use that price tag gun to reattach it ? We don't own one. Then went on, and said dresses with no tags are donated not resold They are priced at the factory. I asked what happens when someone trying on the Dress accidentally removes the tag in the dressing room? Pause. . She looks at my tag, types in the computer, walks to a rack of clothes and says your tag is for THIS Dress, not the dress you brought in. I said, So you mis tagged my dress? Did I pay more for my dress then? Pause. She looks at the tag again and said, you bought 3 dresses, I'm afraid you brought the wrong tag in. The printing on the tags are tiny (so to be cautious) I brought all three tags in, just in case. I Showed her all three tags at once. Silence. I'm with my daughter, who found a dress she liked (it was supposed to be a fun day with her) At this point, the manager (I asked) was fuming. I said, Look, I just want to make a Simple exchange. She huffed, FINE! Never ever again!!! My daughter, was in shock at the treatment. We will never shop there again. This manager was worst I've ever met. I don't know how she got to be the manager, but she is a very poor choice. I have reached out to the head office as well. Normally I'm speechless and let things go. not today. This is the store on yonge and Summerhill, Toronto.

Not sure why but oh well) The staff in this store are EXCELLENT, very cool and running around frantically getting you sizes and kissing your ass, etc. It's rarely busy in here and the fitting rooms are huge and plentiful so you won't be queuing to try anything on (ahem, H&M!)

Over five years ago, I decided to change my eating and lifestyle habits. I lost sixty pounds and have kept it off, which is a challenge being a foodie! Anyway, shopping for anything at Gap is no longer an issue. I shop here often. My size remains constant here. It's nice being in a holding pattern! I also get great clothes at discount prices. I have a navy blue skirt that has light pink stripes going down it. It has pockets, which are both practical and cute. I got this skirt for $10 and continue to wear it. It's one of my favourite pieces. I rarely shop at regular Gap stores. I am always at an outlet store. This one is at Heartland. It can get busy. However, there are plenty of parking spaces. The change rooms are bright and clean. I never feel pressured to try everything on quickly. The lineups can be long, but I am patient. Staff are friendly. I can't complain. (14)

Everything I've bought here has held up pretty well too, which is nice considering the price.
