3.5 stars... there is quite a good staff to give you top not service Whether you believe its real or not, the term Yoga Mom is often applied to the well-to-do Oakville moms. The ones that are in perfect shape and need every spandex variation possible to run errands in. I would have to say BS once a upon a time but here.... it might actually be real BUT to be fair, service here is really good to persuade anyone including moms to drop $100 on a pair of yoga pants. This store on Lakeshore might be considered small if you compare it to all the other recent new mall Lululemons. Though it doesn't have a lot of space, the store pushes every inch into stacking and shelving their newest gear. I have a love and slight eye roll relationship with Lululemon. The gear gear I bought from them was probably over 10 years ago ... and back then, the pants were well under $100 and I still actually have them. The material and wearability is incredible. Today, good luck finding a pair of pants under $110 today and to survive a normal use after 2 years. So the quality has dipped a bit ... but they still make really nice styles that fit so nicely. The clothes do flatter most body types. Oh one warning... if there is a stroller in the store, it is soo painful to maneuver around them. I understand you have a little one but you can't stop the entire store of 20 people to accommodate one stroller. I know you can't ban them from coming in the store but they literally clog up half the main aisles and you're left standing there for 1 minute while the oblivious mom slowly browse the tanks. The store is split into the men's and women's section... there is a lot to the men's area BUT I would say its at least 25% of the floor space. So you're not stuck to a shelf. The women's side is nicely organized with clear labels to show you where you can find the pants you might want or the tops you think you need. If there is any question, the staff is ready to help you. I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful the staff is... even more so with the regulars. They seem to have a whole conversation about recent trips they did or the kids marathons. One thing I did like about this store... there is a consolidated sales rack area that had some nice things to consider. The had some smaller sizes which I truly appreciate and it went all the way to the larger size. Even though it was a sales rack, nothing was out of place or messy. Seeing how often the sales rack is left to die in a corner at other places, this was a nice touch. Also, the sales prices are a good ... most items were 30% off at the time. I did try on a few items and the staff was always there to make sure the fit was what I wanted or make suggestions. This time, I didnt end up buying something. Not because nothing was nice... it just wasn't exactly the right fit with the right material. The staff didnt pressure me to make a buy since I didnt love it. For $70 for a top, I better love it. I do have to say that if Im ever looking for a flattering casual look that makes people believe I just finished a yoga class. This would be my spot.

I throughout my trial I went to mostly Yin/Meditation classes as I didn't want to go hardcore right away. They were really relaxing and all the instructors were very positive and helpful. One of our classes even ended with chanting, which was something I missed from my meditation groups way back. I did end up doing one Vinyasa, it was extremely hard. Though I'm not incredibly in shape. Haha. But the teacher was very helpful with modifications. All in all, the other practitioners were friendly, the teachers were friendly and the receptionists were friendly. All about positivity and health. It's a great place and a great first yoga experience. Just not my thing, so I didn't keep it up. But if you're interested in yoga or already do it, these people are awesome!

You can tell a good instructor by the flow of the class. If you are feeling a lot of stops and starts, and confusion moving from position to position... then this means you're probably with a less experienced instructor. There are soooo many great instructors at this location that it's tough to find a favourite. Pro; Instructors take a personal interest in your progress and take the time to remember who you are. The environment is peaceful and welcoming... exactly like a yoga studio should be. You can always find close parking its located in a major plaza. Con; This studio is not the cheapest place in town. The washrooms and the lobby area seem to be rather small when attendance is high. Some of the instructors are phenomenal and this leads to overcrowding in the classes. Recommendation; They offer a 30 day trial for $40.00! Besides the small areas in the facility and the overcrowding which only occurs with popular class times and curtain instructors, I haven't found a better Yoga studio and I won't ever look further. They also leave after shavasana in the most silence and appreciate the sanctuary. I love all the instructors. Thomas Haller is wonderful and provides a unique class at 9:45am Sundays. Samantha H is a very spiritual and motivating instructor with a modern take on life! Her flow class will reconstruct your body with out even knowing it!
