The waiting area was filled with fun games and activities that immediately put my daughter at ease. The staff's bedside manner was top-notch--gentle, patient, and incredibly reassuring. They explained everything in a way that was comforting to both of us and made the entire experience feel like a fun adventure instead of something to be nervous about. The exam rooms had TVs playing kid-friendly entertainment, which helped keep her distracted and happy during the visit. I honestly wouldn't trust any other dentist in Rego Park or Forest Hills with my daughter's care. Lil Pearls has set the bar high for pediatric dentistry, and we're grateful to have found them!

There was no clutter and they made the parents that come in to wash their hands in the bathroom due to covid which is great. The exam rooms have wall mounted tv's that play cartoons to keep the kids distracted during the exam. Everyone from the receptionist to the dental assistant to the dentist was super nice and happy. This is definitely a gem because they accept Child Health Plus plans (CHP). Usually the places that accept CHP are dingy with a clinical feel to them. This practice feels like one of those upscale places that takes very high end insurance. Will totally recommend.

I immediately started to make phone calls. I tried our in-network pediatric dental provider but it was after hours and I got the answering machine so I left my number. {Our in-network dentist still has not returned my call to even ask how he's doing! That's a whole other story and Yelp review!} Next, I remembered that Kids Only Dental visited my daughter's preschool to give a presentation on dental hygiene. Thank goodness I bookmarked their info on Yelp! I called the main number and got the emergency line. Called the emergency line and Dr. Angie Chin promptly answered. Dr. Chin, reviewed our incident over the phone and helped to ease my nerves! She answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. She told me to come in first thing the next morning. I wasn't sure if they were in our insurance network so Dr. Chin said she'd have somebody from the office contact me. Talk about quick! Only about 5-10 minutes later Joann called me back to answer my insurance questions. Unfortunately, they are not in-network but Joann reviewed the price breakdown and it was reasonable so I opted to self-pay. Fast forward through my sleepless night. My husband dropped me off at the intersection so he could find parking. I had difficulty locating their office. When I called, Patty, the office manager was super sweet and stayed on the phone and gave me step by step walking directions!!! The waiting area and exam rooms are clean and bright. Dr. Chin did an exam and reviewed the X-rays and it seems there is a small chip on his tooth. Dr. Chin was awesome with my fussy toddler. She was patient, kind, and playful with him. Terrific bedside manner. We go back in one month for a follow up. I highly recommend Kids Only Dental! Now I just need to switch to insurance they accept!!!

As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed with smiles and it was just us - no one around. They gave us their full attention, and explained everything that was going to happen. They had her sit on daddy, which made it less scary for her, and the assistant brushed her teeth while talking to her and asking her questions that she loved to answer. Such as "What's your favorite color? do you love bubble gum flavor?" The dentist then came and was also super kind and friendly. She explained the tools she was going to use and that she would look at my daughter's teeth and count each one together with her. They then gave her a goody bag as well as a sticker and let her pick a toy out of the toy box. My daughter loved it. I highly recommend this place!!

She offered several bandaids and the staff provided some alcohol wipes to help disinfect the wounds as well as trim the extra long adhesives to avoid obstructing the face. My dad is particular with his cleaning because he has most of his teeth with only two or a few missing and values dentists and hygienists, who offer thorough cleanings. As a bonus, the staff rescheduled my dad's cleaning earlier to also check on his potentially fractured tooth that hurts only when he bites. The dentist (Hyeong Kim) was exceptional as usual. He patiently explained my dad's canals may be blocked or too narrow to clean and requires an endodontist to extract a root canal cleanly with a small excision to remove his pain. He also suggested that it may be possible to preserve my dad's tooth without a crown given it may not hold with too much bone loss from grinding the teeth too much (to be close to the nerve) and eating solely on the left side of the mouth. In addition, we appreciated the waiver for the extra full mouth x-ray that is usually taken every two or three years when he switched to this new dental office for the excellent service. We confirmed that he needed new x-rays after a year, but didn't know about this restriction until the coverage was denied. Finally, this is one of the few places that still give a free toothbrush, toothpaste, and flossing kit to ensure good dental hygiene. This is truly a gem and my favorite dentist of all time thus far!

They move me to another room and set me up and that machine too was not working. They move onto the cleaning and after rinsing I feel that the back of my lower front tooth was chipped during the cleaning. The hygienist suggests a small filling (does not apologize, said I grind my teeth at night-which I've never been told that I do). I ask to see the dentist who tells me a filling on that tooth will just fall out and that I should just leave it as is. How do you go in for a cleaning and come out with a chipped tooth?
