My son has attended Snell's for around 6 months now and we've loved it. The teachers are kind and patient and use an age/developmentally appropriate approach in the classroom. They have a huge, amazing outdoor play area and nature garden, which my son enjoys. I really love how much he gets to play and be a kid while learning and socializing at the same time. The teachers and director are experienced, communicative, kind, and provide a safe environment. My son genuinely enjoys it there and even asks to go, which is priceless. Highly recommend! read more

I've heard great things about Snells pre kindergarten, So I decided to enroll my two children. They were going for a year and I had to take them out. I kept getting unusual incidents reports and made me think that they weren't watching the children. I've also noticed that they choose favorites which is unprofessional. The preschool itself has had some other incidents with leaving children by themselves. The teachers there I feel they didn't have enough experience with children. Which led me to believe that my two children won't be safe most of the time. There is only one teacher there who is really good and she's had the most experience. If you do enroll your children there make sure they are verbal so they can tell you if anything is wrong. read more

Snell`s is an excellent preschool and due to the experienced teachers and the owner, one of the best schools in the area. I have an active 3 years old boy that goes to Snells for over 7 months now and he is thriving. Before Snells we had one bad experience with another local preschool that stressed my son to the point of him being afraid to go to school. I will not go to the details, but Snells is quite the opposite of all those preschools where unexperienced teachers force their views of how your child should learn, sit and for how long etc. Snells is nothing like that. Snells is a school where kids can be still kids, have a lot of space to play outside or indoors, learn good manners and form friendships with other kids and more. Comparing with other local preschool, Snells is NOT a stressful environment for a child, it`s a place where your kid will go happily. Snells teachers are rare gems, I can`t express enough how thankful I am for all they do for our kids. Many of them aren`t new to being teachers and you can tell they put their hearts into their work and that your child is loved at Snells. They are very professional and their knowledge and application of child`s psychology is excellent. The school is also very safe and the owner and teachers are always helpful and willing to work on issues if there are any. Academically, Snells teaches age appropriate curriculum in a way that does not stress the kids and at the same time is very effective and even more, needed. It`s hands on education and learning through play, with a lot of movement incorporated - kids have a lot of play time outside, on play ground, helping them with mastering their balance and coordination, there is a lot of activities that help developing fine motor skills needed later in life for writing, a lot of correct handling of situations by teachers when kids have conflicts between each other = teaching them very good social skills. I also love that Snell`s organizes events for kids and parents throughout the year and offers parental involvement in volunteering if interested. When we were looking into places for our daughter, we couldn't get enough referrals from friends and family to Snells Preschool, so we scheduled a walk-thru with the Director at the time and my daughter (who was very timid and slow to warm up) She did not want to leave the classroom that day! She has been enrolled with Snells since the February 2021. Of course there was an adjustment period to our new routine, but the staff at Snells was very welcoming and patient, my daughter speaks highly of the staff at each pick up. She never fails to forget them especially during the holidays ("Don't forget chocolates for Miss ____ and Miss ____"). Since being enrolled, they've helped her embrace her outgoing personality, helped facilitate our potty training transition, and her vocabulary has exponentially expanded. The building is charming, the grounds are always very well kept. The communication between staff and myself have been very transparent and efficient. Snells tries their best to incorporate parent participation through events for Mother's/Father's day, Christmas, Thanksgiving lunch, etc. It's always great to drop in during those events to see our daughter interact with her peers and teachers so comfortably. When someone we know is looking for part or full-time care, we always mention Snells and our experience. read more

This is my daughters second year at Snells. She has blossomed from being super shy and timid to a social butterfly! The teachers are amazing, I've watched on multiple occasions the patience and love they show the kids when they are hurt or sad. They send pictures through the day which def helps keep my mind at ease! I love that so much of it is play based learning, with so much outside play time! read more

My daughter has been attending Snell's since October of last year and loves it! She began in the two year old room and is now in the three year old room. She absolutely loves Mrs. Kim and pretends to be her at home. This school has one of the MOST beautiful playgrounds I've ever seen too! One of my favorite things about this center is that they are truly child-led, meeting the needs of children comes first. I also love that hours of care are a little more flexible than other places, they have "lunch bunch" hours that allow parents who only need half a day of care to pick up their children at 12:30. This was the best and best first school for my son. He was in Pre-K with Mrs. Kim for first six months and then he was placed with 4s and 5s with other teachers. They all are so nurturing, positive and loving with the kids. The first few weeks of school were hard for my son as it was his very first school but Kim made it really easy for him with her love and care. I can't say enough thank you to all the staff. Love it! We can't forget about his another favorite teacher Ms. Ceidy! She was such a sweetheart! Highly recommended who are looking for a school for their child. You will never be disappointed! read more

My 4 year old has been attending Snell's since August 2021 and we couldn't be more pleased. The building is charming and well cared for with lots of visual interest and home comforts for the kiddos such as a tiny bathroom that is easy for them to use, an indoor play house, etc. They have a covered back patio area for days where they want to be outside but under cover from sun or rain and a gorgeous outside playground with lots of places to play with friends. They have a little pool (with safety gate and all precautions in place) and small area with a garden. There is a groundskeeper that lives on site and keeps things tidy and maintained. Lots of security cameras and alarm systems in place. They use the Procare app for payments, communications and daily check ins/outs. They also use the app to share videos and pictures of what your little one is doing throughout the day. For Covid protocols, they take your little ones temperature when they enter and immediately have them put their things away and wash their hands at the little kids sink. They communicate any changes in protocol quickly and effectively through the app or in person as needed. All employees wear masks and encourage/assist the children with wearing theirs as appropriate and follow local and state mandates to the best of my knowledge. My son loves his little class and teachers, he is always excited to go to Snell's and they do sweet things for holidays like special parties and safe treats for them. I really love this place, they provide consistent care and seem to truly enjoy the kiddos. I'm a pretty anxious mom and Snell's makes me feel really good about leaving my son to play everyday. I can not say enough good things about the staff at Snell's! This place is a blessing to my family. Our son was fortunate enough to have not had to go to daycare and when it came time for preschool I worried about what I would find. Mrs. Margret put our mind at ease from our very first visit to Snell's for a tour. The way they care about children and their education is apparent. Snell's Pre-Kindergarten has been the best experience for my 2 children! Both my son and daughter have grown tremendously under the guidance of the caring staff and teachers. Both kiddos loved all the learning that took place through song, hands on exploring, movement and more. I watched my quiet son come out of his shell and become the loving, caring, and now outgoing boy that he is today! My daughter comes home daily singing songs and talking about all that she has learned. It truly is a blessing to have your child's first school experience be so amazing! read more
