Every time I've visited the store in the past, I was warmly welcomed and the salespeople went above and beyond. This year was a completely different experience. I visited the store and waited to be helped. One salesperson was sitting on the computer, two other salespeople were helping other customers check out. The owner's husband was working on unboxing items or wrapping items. Continue to wait and struck up a conversation with another customer waiting. We talked and a couple walked in. Immediately a salesperson comes out and begins helping them. Maybe they had an appointment? After ten minutes, another salesperson acknowledges me. She shows me a few pieces of jewelry. I was interested in one piece since the collection was being retired. I asked to place the item on hold. Normally, the salesperson will write down your name and contact info. I'm in the system so I know this is part of their process. This particular salesperson did none of that. I quickly realized she wasn't interested in making the sale or getting my info to hold the piece. Walked out and didn't return to make my purchase. So disappointed in this year's shopping experience. It's too bad they missed the mark this year because they usually are known to go above and beyond. Plus the owner always makes sure to stock a large inventory of hard to find Yurman pieces. I'll return but this time I'll make sure to make an appointment.

I grabbed one of the bags on the bottom and took it up to checkout in which the associate working told me that I should ask for a manager bc that bag is $169 not $89 and she has told them multiple times to change it and they don't. I took her suggestion and had her grab one. Before I could even spoke to the manager she came out very combative and with an attitude. And stated that the sign only spoke for wallets and the top row. When I pointed to another display that was labeled $199 I asked "okay so is the top of that $199 and then the bottom $300 since this is how that works apparently?" she told me that they were obviously the same collection so no, as if I work there and know the difference between their collections. As a customer the advertising is very misleading and the sign does NOT say "$89 wallets", "$89 top row only", or even "$89 and up" it simply just says a price. I worked retail for 8+ years so I know that when things like that happen any reputable business would uphold the sign and then move the merchandise to where no one gets confused. Not only was the customer service AWFUL, the manager gave me a bogus customer service line. My mom was also going to buy a $200 purse but put it back bc of this. The have lost 2 customers that shop there regularly for purses and wallets and buy multiple a year for the last 10+ years over this. Absolutely disgusting.

The man behind the counter asked if I was looking for something in particular. I mentioned a brand I use, and instead of simply saying they didn't carry it, he snapped at me, told me I'd "never find that here in South Carolina," and then launched into an unwanted political rant. I didn't ask for his opinions. I didn't bring up politics. I was a polite customer who was met with hostility, condescension, and arrogance. For someone who runs a shop that depends on visitors and tourists, treating people this way is beyond unprofessional -- it's downright insulting. There are plenty of places on Hilton Head where customers are welcomed and respected. This is not one of them.

This is not really a FedEx "store", in that they cannot scan a QR code for printing out a label for…read morereturning an item to a store. It is really just a drop-off center for boxes that have already been labeled. If you can't create a label, they can't help you. Also, apparently the USPS does not pick up and deliver on a daily basis. If you drop off a package or mail, don't expect it to be sent out in a timely manner. UPDATE: the new owner did say they are addressing this issue. However, I will just be taking my packages to the regular post office in the future.
