I would trust the owner's Jack and Emily with anything to do with my daughter, they are like family. And not only that, the kids are LEARNING. At her age, my daughter knows her ABC's, can count to 15, and is, according to her pediatrician, very advanced for her age. I attribute this directly to her school, as every child in the two year old class exhibits these behaviors, so it is something they are doing, not just coincidence.

We were also told they can play for $5.00 .. okay so they can come and play for $5.00 but if we bring our grandkids, they charge $25.00 each to use the pool. Hmm Whats wrong with that picture! Amazing how they think allowing non members to play , especially on Mon , Wed, Fri slots where we have plenty of members .. Real NICE... NOT!

Before the pandemic the care was much better my daugther loved Ms. Celostia and Ms. Carrie she spoke about them everyday. But, you get what you pay for essentially. After the pandemic, my daugther experienced more biting incidents scratches, and safety hazards like constant falling. The final straw was picking her up after a 11 hour day she immediately complained about her pee pee. She was grabbing and screaming it. I took her home and changed her diaper to find dirt, soggy broken Elisa pamper pull-up from that morning, strong urine odor, and a horrible diaper rash. I checked the daily report there was on update of a changed diaper at 4:11pm (not true). The daycare uses Luv's pampers. They were potty training 30 kids using 2 potty's from my understanding. But the timeframes don't add up. I called the daycare they claimed she was dry for 11 hours!!! Even with that argument the severity of her rash and the smell I should have been called from work how bad it was. I rushed her to Children's Hospital Urgent Care on Chastain Rd. They had to take a urine sample and she was diagnosed with UTI and was on antibiotics and a steroid rash cream for a week. She creamed in agony at the hospital just two hours from leaving daycare of her pee pee burning and hurting. I had to leave work for a week to care for her. The new teachers hired need to make sure they really watch they children bottoms. She is fine now but we decided it was not a good fit for her anymore.

The director kept double charging my daycare fees and said that wasn't being paid properly. And I had to fight tooth and nail to get a refund. 4. I walked in to the class to drop my kids and watched big kids in the infant room pulling infants hair out and pelting METAL water bottles at other kids heads (and the little girl was begging them to stop crying on the floor screaming) and again the teacher did NOTHING and let them beat her up- and said oh they're okay. I HAVE SO MANY HORROR STORIES FROM THAT PLACE PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS THERE!!! Literally anywhere else works better than here!

Both of my children began in the infant room and graduated from Pre-K here. They also attended summer camps and school breaks at the facility. During those years, we loved the warm, dedicated teachers and the leadership from former directors who clearly had a heart for children and their families. Unfortunately, when Rivergreen transitioned from private ownership to corporate management under Chroma, everything we once valued began to change. The leadership shift was immediately apparent--many of the long-standing teachers left, and the previous director departed as well. What followed was a dramatic decline in the environment and culture of care. The new director's approach was, in her own words, "business first"--a philosophy that quickly became evident in her interactions. During her first week, I witnessed a troubling incident involving my 5-year-old child during a moment of distress that any young child might experience. Rather than offering compassion or attempting to de-escalate the situation privately, my child was left lying on the floor of the public foyer, crying, while the director stood over her and chastised her in full view. There was no empathy, no discretion, and certainly no child-centered response. What was even more concerning was the lack of transparency. The account I received from the director contradicted the teacher's version of events--details I only received after insisting on a first-hand report. In that same conversation, the director asked me point-blank, "Is she going to be a problem?" This was just the first of several interactions that made it clear the new leadership lacks the empathy, professionalism, and child development understanding necessary to foster a safe, supportive environment. Despite eight years of loyalty, I made the difficult decision to withdraw my children from the center within two weeks of the new director's arrival. If that doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what does. While the teachers themselves remain kind and capable, a facility without strong, compassionate leadership is not a place I can recommend. As a parent, I expect a childcare environment where children come first--not corporate priorities. In addition, I am deeply concerned that personal and sensitive details regarding my child's behavior were publicly disclosed on social media, as seen in the response issued by the facility. While no name was used, the context and timing of the post clearly identify my child to anyone familiar with our situation--constituting a breach of confidentiality and a violation of my child's right to privacy and dignity. According to Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning, child care programs must comply with Rule 591-1-1-.11 (Confidentiality), which explicitly states: "Information concerning the child or the child's family shall not be made available to anyone other than the parents or legal guardian, the center's employees or designated consultants, the Child Care Licensing Division, or other designated authorities unless the parents or legal guardians grant written permission."

Not only am I very disappointed with the diagnosis process and…read morethe repair that did not address the issue that I called them for but also with the failure of their management to address my concerns. I called Plumbing Express to investigate and resolve a water leak in my kitchen ceiling. The leak was directly below my master bathroom toilet, which my sister and I had already narrowed down by tapping on the kitchen ceiling downstairs while listening upstairs, where the sound was clearly strongest near the master bathroom toilet. The technician briefly inspected both bathrooms but focused on my sister's bathroom on the opposite side of the house after noticing a damp sponge under the toilet tank. My sister explained the sponge was there because she sprays and cleans the toilet regularly, not because of a leak. The plumber then cut open the kitchen ceiling drywall, stated the leak was coming from the water supply line from my sister's toilet, and performed a complete toilet tank rebuild for $450. After the repair, he gave me a card for a company that performs restorations and recommended I call them to inspect for subfloor damage. When that restoration company arrived, they immediately stated there was no way the ceiling leak could have originated from the secondary bathroom because of the location and no evidence of water stains. They recommended another plumber and a leak detection company come out to find the leak before they performed any work. I contacted a second plumber, who agreed the leak was much more likely connected to the master bathroom toilet directly above the leak area. Finally, I hired a leak detection company, and they also confirmed the leak aligned with the master bathroom location, not the secondary bathroom Plumbing Express repaired. At this point, three separate professionals have stated the leak could not have originated from the bathroom Plumbing Express serviced. I paid $450 for a repair that did not address the actual problem I originally called about. In Response to Ty G: Your response is totally incorrect. I would not have called the second plumber and the leak detection company if your recommended restoration company had not told me that the leak was not identified. The pictures taken are of the secondary bathroom not the master as we discussed in our phone call. It is totally "disingenuous" for you to now state that the master toilet was the issue. This validates everything I thought about your company. Others beware!

At any point they could've given up and left me with an underground leak, but they took pride in their work. They did not try to charge me extra beyond what they initially quoted. When I had problems with low water pressure afterwards, they came back out and checked the main water supply. The quickly solved the problem, again, without an extra charge. These are good men of integrity, and I recommend them!

I have waited a few months, but now due to a safety concern for other children, I feel this should be written. These are the facts about what happened with one of my kids that attended faithful futures. Names are left out to protect the identity of the kids. I went to pick my kids from Faithful Futures located in Rockmart, GA. When I picked the kids up, we were about to leave and all five of them at the time made the comment that Mr. Austin, (The owner's son) put his hands on one of my kids, shaking his head, and yelling at him. I went in there and confronted Mr. Austin, and he lied to me about it. I demanded to speak with Deana, but she was not there. I left after that and attempted to try and call Deana but couldn't make contact. I took my child to the ER to get him checked out. While I was there, I received a phone call and spoke with the owner, Mrs. Deana and told her what was going on. She stated that her son did admit to putting his hands on the child, but it was to get his attention. I find this to be absurd, and hardly believe this. I believe Faithful futures was just trying to cover this up. She stated the cameras were down and couldn't see what happened. I find this very convenient for Mr. Austin to get away with this. Deana then started explaining that my child was messing with another special needs child making him cry. She did not acknowledge that our child had some trauma/special needs. In my opinion, the owner tried to play this off and blame our child. Deana did tell me in an email that since her son admitted to putting his hands on a child, she terminated his employment. After this happened, I still tried to work something out with Deana that our child could stay there because we have never had an issue with her. She has always been great to work with and I just did not want her son to come back on the property. She stated a few days later that she was meeting with her lawyer. She finally spoke with me and said she was advised that we not come back. This was horrible news, because my child was the victim of battery, and we should not be the ones having to leave. We found a much better day care in Rockmart after that. During months after this, one of my children kept telling me that Mr. Austin is teaching again at the day care, and I did not believe that. I said how do you know, and she stated one of her friends from school goes there and said he was there. I finally met up with another adult who keeps their children at Faithful Futures, and we talked. She stated that Mr. Austin was back there. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. If he did this to my child, I could only imagine him doing this to other children. I know see why she didn't not want to keep him away and make us leave the day care. I believe it was her intentions to hire her son back after she thought this would blow over. I would not recommend this day care to anyone because of what went on here.
