They have an area for main service as well as rooms for children's ministry. I loved seeing that the congregation hangs out and gathers after service in their courtyard. This parish is was our home away from our mainland home. We felt very welcomed even with our rambunctious kids. The kids choir was quite pleasant, the wooden sculptures were beautiful and a wonderful homily. Plenty of parking and bathrooms just outside the parish. We stayed for a bit after to check out the gift shop and my wife had the pleasure of speaking with one of the priest who was from California originally and said this is now his home and how he loves the community. Bring your uke or just attend and enjoy. The night we went they passed out song books to everyone who came in. There was a large group of hula dancers that performed forest of the songs. Very impressed to hear terms like "restorative justice" and "personal privilege" in a boring ole Christian sermon. lol There was a lot of call for people to consider the traditional prayers/sayings[?], not just as holy words, but to think of relevant, realistic ways in which they could enact those lofty teachings in their daily lives. It was pretty much the opposite of a cheesy megachurch nightmare. And that's even before the hymns in Hawaiian. :D They also had very well thought-out and politely but strictly enforced Covid safety protocols -including RSVP-ing for services, so as to keep the overall number of attendants manageable, seats arranged in small groupings for couples/families and set far away from other 'rows,' waiting to be escorted outside by a church volunteer, according to place, rather than all walking out at the same time - all without feeling rigid or inorganic.
