They only serve one size but when you get quality coffee you don't need much. Very common to have a small cup. Syra has all types of milk if you need almond, soy, or oat. Paco our barista who was there during stay in Madrid was amazing! Great conversation and friendly. Cute little store and coffee is made fresh and right in front of you. What's interesting about the Starbucks in Europe are the different options they offer as far as food. Their sandwich selection ( I broke my bread protocol due to walking 10 miles/20,000 steps daily) were awesome: my fave was the turkey/avocado/tomato slider on a multi grain bread. It was fresh and delicious! Just the right size for a quick pick me up. Other options were Iberian ham and cheese, mozzarella and tomato and many more. I always ordered an old fave, non fat Caramel Macchiato, and was prepared consistently perfect. It always has the right ratio of caramel to coffee. Starbucks is always thinking green this it's nice that they continue to promote reusable cup option. This location was spotless and had upstairs seating. The only disconnect was not having Star Reward loyalty program. I would have been accumulating serious star rewards...

We didn't know it was a public holiday, so it was pretty overwhelming to consider where to navigate for a quick dinner and avoid the hassle. Because this spot popped up as a vegan option on Google Maps and was only a block away from our hotel, we figured that was enough for us to take a chance and try it. We were wrong. It started with the pretentious name which I believe translates to "Super cool". We weren't aware it portended a trendy menu of small fusion plates. The cafe is up on the second floor where they set it up as a kind of Garden of Eden with faux-trees and flowering branches. Service was a scarce commodity here because no one bothered to seat us or point out the QR code we were supposed to use to order. We eventually figured it out. Jamie went for a couple of items. The 6,9€ Mediterranean Toast was a bland piece of wheat baguette served with prosciutto, arugula, and feta cheese and drizzled with basil oil (Photo 7). The 4,9€ Tortilla Skewer didn't feature a skewer despite the name. Rather it was a thick, unadorned wedge of Spanish omelet placed between two slices of bread (Photo 8). That was it. My order was a little more interesting, at least in concept, the 10,9€ Italian Waffle. It was a rather chewy waffle covered with avocado, burrata, cured ham, mango, and cherry tomatoes (Photo 9). Nothing blew us away, in particular, the service which was practically non-existent. I had to search for a server just to pay our bill. Luckily, our subsequent stay in Madrid yielded some wonderful food and attentive service. Dining directly on the Gran Via can definitely be a dicey proposition. Super cool? More like super ignored.
