Although the complaint itself was well written, it was filed with the wrong court and contained an incorrect address. I was never informed of this mistake and had to discover it on my own. Correcting the issue required a change of venue, which cost me significant time and money for an error that was not mine. Communication throughout the case was inconsistent. At times, staff were responsive and reassuring; at other times, follow-up emails went unanswered and seemed to fall through the cracks. When I informed the firm that the opposing party was making threatening communications, my concerns did not appear to be taken seriously. After deciding to retain new counsel, I was surprised by how aggressively this firm interacted with my new attorney during the transition. Even more concerning, when my case files were transferred, I was mistakenly sent documents belonging to a different client. This raised serious concerns about their internal controls and confidentiality practices. I was also charged approximately $600 for work the firm claimed had been completed but which was never included in the file transfer. When I requested a refund, I was told the work had been done and that I would need to absorb the cost, despite having to pay my new attorney to redo it. Overall, this firm's lack of organization and efficiency ended up costing me more time, money, and stress than necessary. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend shopping around for other firms, even if they are located outside the Pasadena area.

A year after my settlement was completed, I was getting mysterious calls for collections for my ambulance ride. However, the bill was never sent to me to verify the debt. Michael assured to me that the paperwork they sent was not the right paperwork to verify. But me being skeptical was still afraid and overly cautious because I'm a person who pays all his debts, and didn't want my credit score affected. So Michael suggested that he can hold some of the settlement money as a "just in case" fund until the statutes of limitations expire. I think I can say that for any normal person, this would also seem to be a kind of sticky situation to take on as an alternative, right? Because this agreement requires trust. But in the end his team wrote a contract and I agreed and signed to hold the money. Now to why I'm writing this now; it has been years past since the settlement. To the point where I forgot the statute of limitations timeline. I was contacted by Michael late December of 2025 to schedule an appointment first week after the new year. It was our final appointment and I just received the last portion of my settlement that I forgot about! So trust was definitely earned and received. Excellent customer service.

He never sent any formal letter reasoning why he was dropping the case and date the actual day he chose to drop the case then twisted the story around saying we chose to switch attorney. When he first took on our case, he referred us to Summit Health facility for chiropractic attention but failed to ever mention they are related at all due to their financial gain. UNETHICAL. Usually once you seek an attorney and they accept you case, they will refer you to a chiropractor and sign lien agreement same day you start going to the referred chiropractor, which Charles DID NOT sign at all although Health Summit claimed they followed up for him to sign lien agreement but never received it. He lacks responsibility and he is unethical, going to him is asking for your case to go nowhere without any updates and you will definitely get stuck with charges from his family's chiropractor facility that he refers you to without mentioning they are related at all due to their financial gain. Don't bother wasting your time if you are trying to win your case.
