Within 5…read moremin of our visit after handing my bloodwork that I had done through the Hormone center, I received a lecture on how tired he is of people paying out of pocket for care, it not working, and then he has to fix it. I had to tell him to not be unkind. I asked and endocrinology question about bleeding in perimenopause and I got a textbook answere, "When you reach menoupause, you'll stop bleeding." He finally got to his exam, said he felt thyroid nodules and didn't not explain anything about these and left me concerned. Did nothing for me and said I was to come back in 8 weeks. I said that I was only wanting to establish a PCP bc the Hormone center said I needed to. I got another lecture about the bottom dollar regarding insurance and that he just doesn't have the time to have initial evaluations with patients. Upon leaving there was nothing professional about him. He turned to tell me that "I am happy with my education." I looked at the nurse and asked, "What just happened" It was infuriating. I later got an US through the hormone center, I had no thyroid nodule. I attempted to go through their Manager and Was blown off. Then I received a letter that I should seek care else where. This doctor does not even deserve 1 star. You do not treat women this way who have had excessive medical trouble and are just looking for help.

Dr. Jenkins makes seeing the doctor an enjoyable experience. She sits down and chats with you. It's…read morean actual conversation. I feel like she's giving me advice because she has concern for my well being. Dr. Jenkins is smart, she's kind, and I trust her. When I forget that a year and a half has gone by and I've forgotten to see her she asks my mom how I'm doing. She never comes off as judgmental. I like her. Obviously.

Looking for a primary care physician? You can't do better than Dr. March. She is, hands-down, the…read morebest PCP I've ever had! She always runs late for appointments (seriously, usually an hour or so). But she is well-worth the wait. She runs late for appointments because she actually spends time listening to you and talking with you. She never rushes you and will spend an hour with you if needed. She will never make you feel rushed. She is proactive on treatment of anything and also a registered nutritionist. She will never say "well, let's see if your leg falls off first before we do something". She knows your history, will take action when needed, and also give you a reality check even if uncomfortable. I am seriously dreading the day when I move away from Pittsburgh and have to find another PCP, because none have ever or will ever be as great as Dr. March. Definitely choose her and don't stress about the wait.

Being her patient used to be a great experience until Excela enveloped them. I was a 20 year patient. 2 decades and I took a back seat to appointment stacking and copay racking. I left her practice over it.
