This is a cute little shop in Downtown Tulsa. Fun to walk around and get some good food, check out the sights and then pop into Kilwins for some sweet treats!! A bit pricey, but it's all homemade. You can actually watch them making candy, that's fun!

This candy store is quite new. I was greeted by a nice lady who explained most of the candy in the store. There was a display of the several kinds of candied apples. They looked very enticing. They also make fudge, not many varieties. I sampled several of them. I was lucky that they have just made the raspberry chocolate so it was very smooth and melted in my mouth. There were a lot of varieties of ice cream that you can sample. I had a scoop chocolate cappuccino in a warm big waffle cone. The ice cream nestled nicely inside the cone. It wasn't overly sweet and it had chunks of chocolate. However, the coffee flavor was very weak and not noticeable. The store was very clean and organized.

We weren't able to go in tonight because the store had just closed. However, I'm so excited to go again during regular business hours, because a staff member greeted us at the door, apologized for having missed us, and ran inside for a basket of chocolate samples so we wouldn't leave their doors empty handed. The chocolate tasted great - looking forward to all the treats next time. I particularly have my eyes on the fall candy apples. What great service!

The staff were very friendly, kind, and welcoming and were happy to answer my questions and walk me through the menu options. This spot is primarily a chocolate and sweets shop boasting high-quality gourmet chocolates, sweets, and even house-made s'mores ingredients so you can make your own inside. However, they also have smaller breakfast and lunch menus. I ordered the grilled cheese. All sandwiches come with a pickle and your choice of side, and I went with the fresh fruit. The grilled cheese had a house-blend of cheeses sandwiched between two slices of Parmesan-crusted sourdough bread. The cheese was gooey and creamy with a mild taste. The Parmesan crust on the bread offered a nice contrast with a crispy and crunchy texture. The fresh fruit was composed of strawberries, blueberries, mandarin oranges, and pineapple. When I finished my lunch I got a black drip coffee and a box of two of their gourmet chocolates to go. The chocolates are pricey, but the price reflects the quality. They were delicious! I got a honey lavender and a raspberry and I promise I could have eaten another dozen. The coffee wasn't very good, but they have other drinks I definitely want to try like the liquid truffle (a super decadent hot chocolate made with their premium chocolate). Overall, the place is very charming though a bit pricey and I would highly recommend the chocolates as a special treat! 3.5/5

Visiting Pinkitzel, I was so excited to see that they have cupcakes. I wanted a sweet treat that was just enough without overdoing it. When I walked into the very cute, we'll decorated and nicely organized shop, I was greeted by the cashier. As you walk in to your left is a cotton candy shelf, straight ahead is the cashier, macaroons, cupcakes, specialty chocolatea, ice cream and, to the right is all kind of bulk candy, modern and old fashioned candies. After walking around the shop that was nicely decorated, smelled good, and had a cute seating area in a bay window that looked out to the restaurants and other shops in the downtown Tulsa. I chose the cookies n'cream cupcake. So cute. The cupcake was moist and soft and had good flavor throughout the cupcake. The topping wasn't overbearing with being too much or too sweet. I've taken several photos of the shop and what it offers. After eating my cupcake, I went to look for goodies for my little one. When I went to pay, I was surprised to see how much I paid for two small items. To me, it was costly. Especially for one of them. I t was alright as they were gifts. I'd say when you come to Tulsa, plan out your budget. Overall, the shop was worth the visit for the experience and yummy treats. Happy Yelping!

The updated interior is very clean and inviting, with a mix of seating options depending on your mood. They offer a variety of drink options, including self serve stations and bar selections. The staff is friendly and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, which always makes the experience better. Food comes out all at once, which I appreciate because you are not waiting between dishes. I ordered: * Lamb empanada with Chipotle mayo * House salad * Mixto with mahi mahi and shrimp * tres leche cake The lamb empanada was soft, juicy, and full of flavor. The house salad came with a lemon dressing that was fresh and bright. Adding the chipotle mayo as a dip for the empanada was a great choice and added another layer of flavor. The mixto was a standout. The mahi mahi and shrimp were both tender and sat in a flavorful curry sauce that paired perfectly with the rice. The plantain chips added a satisfying crunch, and the vegetable based dip that came with them was a great complement to the dish. For dessert, I tried the tres leches cake because the house made ice cream was not yet available. It was a nice, sweet finish to the meal. Overall, this is a spot I would return to. The food is flavorful, the space is well designed, and the service makes the experience feel welcoming from start to finish.

The sauces were a nice complement and the scotch bonnet flavor stood out with out being too overwhelming. My only problem was the dough on my beef empanada was not crispy at all more like a tortilla. Than after tasting my empanada my wife wished she had gotten the beef as well. The wooden blocks the sauces came in were novel but we ended up removing them to access the sauces more easily and set the wooden blocks aside. The Yuca fries were pretty good as well but some of the fries were in very large pieces that would have cooked better if cut thinner and seemed a bit undercooked. Not the best Empanadas I have had but we did enjoy the meal and the overall flavors were yummy. Overall, 4 StarZ

Despite the name confusion it's a small restaurant with a laser focus on some popular Moroccan food. The menu is concise but offers enough variety to keep the palate satisfied. The evening we visited there were 10 other patrons and apparently only 1 server/bartender. The wait was more than normal but the food quality made up for that inconvenience. My wife ordered Chicken Tajine with caramelized Prunes and Apricot. I ordered Beef Pastila, a phyllo dough filled with beef stew and almond paste topped with honey. It was absolutely delicious. I almost wanted to call it Beef Baklava because the drizzle of honey over the phyllo dough reminded me of Baklava. We really liked the more intimate, smaller space of the restaurant. When weather permits there is some outside seating. There is a breakfast menu which I have not ordered from yet. Maybe next visit. Overall the experience here was great albeit the service was slow. I'd much rather support a locally owned small restaurant than a chain restaurant any day of the week.
