This evening my family and I were in the mood for dessert, so we ordered from The Peach Cobbler Factory located at 10125 E 81st St, Suite A, Tulsa, OK 74133. We tried the Salted Caramel Cookie, Peanut Butter Praline Cookie, and the Caramel Apple Cobbler with extra crust and walnuts. Caramel Apple Cobbler - 4/10 The crust was flaky and the apples were cooked just right, but the overall flavor didn't quite hit the mark for me. Peanut Butter Praline Cookie - 7/10 This was my favorite. The peanut butter flavor really stood out and was rich and satisfying. I didn't taste much praline, but the cookie itself was still very good. Salted Caramel Cookie - 5/10 The cookie itself was good, but the caramel flavor was subtle. The salt came through more than the caramel. Overall, the experience was decent and nothing was unpleasant. I'd be open to trying The Peach Cobbler Factory again. If you're in the Tulsa area, it's worth checking out you may have a different experience.

Of course, their classic peach cobbler is the star, warm, buttery, and perfectly spiced.

Very laid-back after dinner treat. We can hang out talk to the people in your group. Great place to go when you want a little more time with family and friends after dinner. Instead of a simple greeting like "Welcome to Sonic," I was bluntly hit with "What do you want?" over the speaker. No courtesy, no professionalism--just attitude. I let it go and said I had a mobile order for Larry, only to be told "pull forward" in a rude, demanding tone. It didn't get better. When my food came out, the employee practically shoved the bags into my face--aggressive and completely unnecessary. At that point, it was clear this wasn't just a bad moment; it was a complete lack of basic customer service. I called the store to speak with a manager, hoping to resolve the issue. Instead, I got even more unprofessional behavior. The manager dismissed the situation with "I'm not the one who did that." That's not the point--you're the manager, and it's your responsibility to address how customers are treated. When I pressed the issue, she escalated things further by cussing at me over the phone. Completely unacceptable. I've already filed a formal complaint with corporate, but given that complaints appear to be outsourced and handled with little accountability, I'm not holding my breath. If this is the standard of service at this location, customers should seriously consider going elsewhere. Respect costs nothing--and this place seems unwilling to offer even that.

Inside, the shop has a lot of cute seating areas, both indoors and outdoors. They also offer a fun variety of flavors. I ordered a small cup of the honeycomb lavender ice cream, which came with a free waffle chip. They also have cones, flavored cones, and other options if you want something a little more elaborate. The ice cream itself was very creamy and delicious. I would have loved to have some actual chunks of honeycomb mixed in, but the honeycomb flavor still came through nicely, and there was a swirl in the ice cream that added to it. Overall, it was a really delicious scoop and felt well worth it. I visited on a Thursday afternoon around 3:00 p.m., and it was already fairly busy with families, moms, and young kids. I imagine it gets even busier in the evenings, especially during the summer after dinner. Overall, it is a neighborhood-friendly spot with great ice cream and a fun neighborhood feel.

Our family ordered: the BootDaddy Concrete, Snowmonster Concrete, Butter Pecan Concrete, James Brownie Funky Jackhammer, Rico Suave Jackhammer, Tin Roof Sundae, and a kid's sundae with strawberry topping. It is rare that I will eat frozen custard, and I will usually order the smallest size because I try to watch my caloric intake. I ordered the Butter Pecan Concrete, and it was so delicious that I ate the entire thing. My family was amazed! It was thick, creamy, not too sweet, with the buttery, roasted pecans. I could eat those pecans all day long! Next time, I would like to try the root beer float.

For those of you wondering why there's so many businesses using the Michoacana name, it's because the state of Michoacán is credited as being the origin of paletas (popsicle) and their popularization. A core tenant is using fresh fruits and natural ingredients, so I feel better when I opt for this healthier snacks. I think this particular brand has two or three locations in Tulsa. Since they just opened, everything is shiny and new. The place looks super clean and there's seating available inside. I wish they had a printed menu to see all available snacks in one place, but they seem to have the regular offerings. Thankfully, I'm familiar with them but I can see it being harder to order for someone who is not. They have a rolling menu with pictures on a couple of screens, so you can always use that to make a decision. The lady working was nice and helpful too. Among their savory offerings: prepared chips like Tostilocos (including lots of toppings like peanuts and chamoy), elote (corn cup with mayo, cotija cheese, and chili), nachos, and chicharrones (crispy, deep-fried pork rinds seasoned with chili and lime). Among their sweet offerings: aguas frescas (including Jamaica, horchata, pecan, watermelon and cantaloupe), mangonadas, ice cream, fruit cups, and popsicles. The cherry on top is that they have Don Deli cookies, a Mexican bakery with a distributor in San Antonio. Their butter, cinnamon and wedding cookies are legit. If you get the elote and like it spicy, don't miss adding their salsa macha (thick fried dried chilies and garlic in olive oil and seasoning with salt). It's so good!
