I had a gel manicure and pedicure. For some reason 2 different people worked on me and at the same time. They did a good job but I didn't like using the drill to remove old gel. Nails feel sore. Also, the pedicurist cleaned the tub and then proceeded to use the same towel on my feet. NO!!!! Also, they need better exhaust system. The chemicals were a little overpowering. Tech 2 was friendly, tech 1 not so much. read more

I've been going to Kim's nail salon for well over a year. Kim has become exceedingly rude to me. She actually scolded me for asking her to give special attention to two of my nails. In addition, at first the pedicures were decent. Now I feel that I'm on an assembly line. I will never go back. read more

I came here twice. First time kim did a fill on my acrylic and some Christmas decorations on my nails that i requested with an inspo pic. Over the phone she said nail design was 2 nails for $5 but then charged me 15 for 4. I liked my set but when i came back for a fresh set she set my appmnt for 20 min before closing. When j came in everything felt extremely rushed. Her husband paul did my set, he cut my skin in 6 different places-ive never been cut before. He ripped my old set off my nailbeds and my index finger nail bed started bleeding everywhere right away. When i asked him why he didnt soak them off he said he didnt have time.. wow ok? At the end i hated my set and had several painful cuts, when i told them i hated the set they gave me a $5 discount. Still paid 50 bucks for a set i was miserable with and hands full of cuts. Will not be back. read more

I went this morning to Kim's for my nails. I am from NY so every time we come down to FL I go to Kim's. I have acrylics on my nails so I needed a fill and I also wanted a design that I've been seeing online. Ya did my nails today and she was amazing. I am very picky and particular about the shape of my nails and the way they look and Ya was the most patient girl ever. She changed my shape and changed the look multiple times until I liked it and I wasn't afraid to speak up about something I didn't like because she was so nice about it. She was great and such a perfectionist. She made sure it looked perfect and she even restarted one of my nails because she didn't like she way she did it. Kim is probably the nastiest and rudest business owner I have ever seen in my 67 years. I had scheduled an appointment for tomorrow, but realized I hadn't put a doctor's appointment in my calendar. When I just called to move the appointment, she told me that the operator didn't like me, although I tipped her 10 bucks for a gel manicure two different times. Kim hasn't heard about Karma. Amazing service, I stopped in for a pedicure and gel. The guy took his time with the pedicure and did a great job so much so that I misjudged how much time I had because I'm used to being rushed at other salons. But Kim noticed I was anxious on time and sped up for me. I went back and got my nails done again and same perfect service. Prices are good as well. read more

Let me just start by saying that these are the nicest people I've ever gone to get my nails done with ever! Kim and Peter take their time and do an amazing job. I got my nexgen done there and it is the best set of nails I've ever gotten. Jojo did my pedicure and she was super clean and painless. She was awesome to talk to! We bonded over the scary animals that roam Australia and a bunch of other stuff. I honestly can't wait to go back. This is hands down the best nail place I have ever been too, they never disappoint. It is a little out of the way for me but the drive is totally worth it! They are extremely friendly, personable, and they do an AMAZING job. I get the nexgen (dip) manicure and it lasts up to 3 weeks, and then I'm forced to go get them done again because my nails have grown out too far. I recommend this place to everyone. read more

I had three different people work on my nails. They try to squeeze everyone in - they are just rushing thru everyone. My nails were ok lasted and looked good - but I had different shapes and different lengths that drove me crazy! You want to feel a little relaxed getting your nails done - not like you are on an assembly line.... Came it a second try same thing.... Shame they cannt take the time to work on one person at a time rather that bouncing all over. read more

Really great nail salon in Delray, I'm hesitant to say too much because Kim's Nails is one of the last best kept Delray Beach secrets and I'm hoping it stays that way! But I do need to gush, I love Kim and Peter, they are super nice and run a very professional nail salon. I am very particular about nails. I am a makeup artist for a luxury.line and my nails must be kept trim and clean. Kim gave me the nicest manicure I've had in awhile. Today Kimmy saved me! I have found my new nail place finally after a year of searching! Beautiful nails from Kimmy and relaxing pedicure from Glory. I like the friendly people and that its not too big. I love how Kimmy managed the walk in business on the phone. She gave realistic wait times and told others that they were too busy. I hate when salons will tell you they can take you when they are really too busy and you end up waiting too long or getting poor service. The truth is HORRIBLE best describes this Kim nails. The place sd be shut down. Their attitude is disgusting. Talk talk talk to each other in Vietnamese. Other customer knows Vietnamese and said they were making fun speaking badly of me and others which I also knew. I thought Seinfeld was funny at the time but living the episode was not pleasant at all. They had a comment about everyone. Plus when she had no more use for me she passed me off to someone else who I had to wait twenty minutes for. He was at least pleasant. Plus they did nothing to speak to their customer. It was annoying to hear so much chatter. Most Spas are relaxing. This is not a relaxing atmosphere. And to further their selfish arrogant behavior all tvs were set to their Vietnamese channels. The strip mall was a lot of empty stores although it is in Delray still felt unsafe. They tell you one price on the phone then do add ons. Since 1975 I started using nail salons. Then it was the beginning of acrylic. Over all that time not one salon charged 10$ to do cuticles. After they use the machine usually their are a few cuts needed they don't do that. And I am an idiot for leaving a tip cause I was afraid to walk out. Also the salon is not up to date nor did she sterilize. And towels were filthy and old. I wish I took my camera. One of the ladies I met outside took a pic. Not sure why. I am sure those that have been going are fine any new person considering go find one of the other salons. read more

History

Established in 2014.

It's a small Gem hidden in the back of the plaza that we found and decided to open as a Nail Salon in Summer 2014. Good thing is it has big parking lots, most of the Salon around us have small parking. The disadvantage is the shop is hidden, behind Fire Stone Tire. We believed with our experience, we can build up Clientele so we take it. It took us a whole year to build up Clientele, mostly by word of mouth, Google, and Yelp. We believe that friendliness, quality work, and cleanest will help us success.

Today I went home laid back and started taking pictures because I wanted to be sure I wasn't being over critical. 17 pictures later I'm disappointed at the time I wasted and won't get back. I don't know if the service was rushed because of a packed schedule since next appointment called in while I was there. She asked for next appointment to give her two minutes. Two minutes I was out the door. My only other thought was maybe the hair wasn't long enough for the wax. She could have said that in the beginning and I could have rescheduled. She is sweet and makes you feel comfortable. Definitely would recommend her to someone doing a Brazilian for the very first time ever. Comparison is the thief of joy and she made me miss my old regular waxer.

"I had an extremely disappointing experience at this salon with Kim. She appeared visibly frustrated due to a previous client's complaint and unfortunately directed that frustration toward me. When I requested a simple white coat on my nails, as she has done in the past, she refused and made a comment to her staff about customers complaining that day. Things escalated when she began raising her voice and ultimately asked me to leave the shop without finishing my nails. This behavior felt unprofessional and uncalled for. I had a great experience at this nail salon! I was in the area and searched for a nail salon nearby, and I'm so glad I found this place. It was my first visit, and everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. Mui did both my nails and toes, and they came out absolutely amazing! She took the time to explain what would be best for my nails and shared her professional recommendations, which I really appreciated. I have been going to Kim Nails and Spa for about two years now and I love it! Kim and Peter are very hospitable, the shop is clean and inviting, and the prices are good. Mr. Lee has been giving me a pedicure and it always turns out perfectly, especially with his attention to detail. I have tried several other places in Boca and Delray, but won't go anywhere else since I found them. Everyone who works there is very warm and welcoming. So I made a review last week about how unprofessional the owner is and how dirty the establishment is and I guess Kim felt the need to delete it because she doesn't want people to know how unprofessional she is. How rude she is and how nobody should go there there's so many good nail salons in the area. Save your money and don't go here. The owner of the salon is incredibly rude and disrespectful. She will berate her employees IN FRONT OF THE CLIENT. And then when you try to speak up to her about it she will berate you as well. She's a huge bully and deserves ZERO business. I think the owner is the woman who gave me a manicure. She was very rude. She kept telling me to stop shaking. Nobody has ever requested that of me during a manicure. I asked if she was going to take care of my cuticles, and she told me that was extra and I should have told them that I wanted that done before.
