Pain wasn't a major issue but it was certainly uncomfortable and eating was problematic. After calling a couple of places that couldn't see me for days/weeks, I got an appt w/Dr. Raab for the following morning. I knew the molar needed to be pulled but was more than a little nervous about being able to get an appt so quickly. All fears were unfounded, Dr. Raab was calming and professional, the tooth was pulled quickly and without pain (I'm a self-admitted wuss when it comes to dental stuff) - I didn't even feel the anesthetic injection. Since the procedure, I've had neither pain nor swelling and the site quickly stopped bleeding. Later in the day, I received a follow up call from Diane to ask how I was doing and to emphasize the correct follow-up care. If I lived locally, I would continue to come here for all my dental needs. I did my surgery at the hospital and was cared for very well. The next day I was able to go out and did not even have to take the prescribed painkillers! Only took Advil! There was never a time when I was in real pain. Sure you are uncomfortable Since you had four teeth pulled but it wasn't horrible! Now I would never want to have my four wisdom teeth out again but it really wasn't a bad experience and I honestly wouldn't care if I had to go through it again!
