Came here today with some doubts because I already have a regular nail lady but I definitely will be coming back here! I went in and was instantly greeted, place was clean and staff was super friendly. Rocio took me quick and I lasted a total of 50 mins in there (fastest I've ever lasted doing my nails). I am completely amazed at how many colors they had to offer for both gel and SNS Powder. First time I tried round nails. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is obvious. Okay so initially I thought I found a decent nail place bc I think my preferred place either closed or moved due to covid (Nini Nails if anyone has some info ) and I came in on 6/18,/roughly around 11:45-12 pm. Here's where things went left: 1. Not as clean as it could and should be due to covid. 2. It seemed that only three or four people were on duty. You could easily tell that they were working on two people at a time and there was a wait, which would have been fine if properly communicated with customers. The lady just told me to sit once I told her what I was there for (gel pedi and gel mani) two other ladies arrived after myself & also instructed to wait. We all sat there hot and likely annoyed for about 25-35 mins when one of them left. This prompted the lady in the first seat (maybe the owner or boss) to move me to the pedicure seating area and told me it would be a few minutes ‍ it was not a few minutes... 3. My technician was in the middle of her current customer, who seemed to be getting a manicure. That lady had about 15/mins remaining. My tech also took a snack break... 4. I sat there w my feet in the damn water for 35 mins before my tech finally addressed me. Needless to say that I didn't get a manicure because I was really annoyed and really wanted to leave. Maybe it was a rough dey and perhaps they do a decent job but it was not enough for me. I just can't recommend poor service especially poor communication. If you don't have enough staff then say that and explain how long it would really be for the customer. Not stick someone someplace because you don't want to lose a sale. I called on Monday for an appointment on Tuesday (today) for an acrylic set and a gel pedicure at 6:15, I confirmed it with the lady on the phone 4 times exactly what I needed done to make sure there was no miscommunication. She agreed and my appt was set, today I was running a few minutes late and I called the salon saying I had an appointment at 6:15 for a full set and gel pedicure and I was running 5 minutes late. On a Sunday afternoon I was strolling through Washington Heights looking for a place to get my nails done. I came upon this salon and was very happy with the results! It's $15 for a fill-in and $15 on top of that for gel nail polish. That's CHEAP in the city. I was very happy with the results! Maria was very friendly and was very meticulous with my nails. I didn't feel rushed liked I normally do in nail salons in the city. She took her time and I ended up with beautifully done nails. Sandra did my pedicure and also took her time. For once I was not rushed getting beautified. It's a Dominican nail and hair salon. It was packed with regulars and the staff was extremely friendly and greeted most returning customers with a hug. If your looking to spend an afternoon in a place that takes it's time and truly cares about their customers I would definitely recommend this place! I can't comment on the hair, but I plan on returning to get mine done. On a Sunday evening I was looking around the area for a much needed pedicure, stumbled on this place after being turned down by Le Bella and another high rated salon in the area (2 hour+ wait estimate). But I must say I'm glad I did. Sandra took care of me and made sure my fred flinstone textured feet came out pampered and baby soft. She made sure to remove the excess cuticles and any possible ingrowns (I didn't have any but she made sure to check, something which many nail techs bypass) and scrubbed away any callus I had as well. Total process was about 45 min from selecting the polish to having my toes painted. I was going to add on the manicure ($25 mani/pedi special) since I liked the polish so much but they seemed to be in a rush so I settled for just the pedi ($18) sadly I got home and realized one of my toe nails is extremely uneven, which I take some blame for for not noticing while inside. The tools however appear to just be kept in solution which made me wonder how often it's refilled/sanitized- I hope I'm wrong. They accept credit cards using the square app which charges tax. Updated review: used the duri Polish (they have the most awes own shades) and toes are still painted (I applied my seche vite top cost after getting home) it's been about a month. But, this nail salon is super inexpensive and I've been here 3 times so far for acrylics and they do a great job! they definitely take their time and are good at what they do. I don't usually take time out to write reviews but honestly felt like this one was somewhat necessary due to my experiences with this nail salon. I live nearby and don't usually come here but decided to give it a try a few weeks ago,upon walking in,nobody even looked at me,I wasn't greeted or asked what I was getting done. So I sat down any place I could find to sit,considering I was tired from work. I sat in three different places because in every place I sat I was moved. I ended up staying standing for around 10 mins until I couldn't take it anymore and walked out. For a first time walking in,I expected something a litle bit more different. Second time going in,currently here,I'm asked to write my name,I sit and I'm moved from where I sit,multiple times. Their usual customers are given more attention and priority than new customers. I've now been here for an hour and 45 mins. and haven't even been asked what I'm getting done. Even though I've tried getting their attention :/ I really want to like this place because of what friends tell me about it but every time I come here I end up leaving more tired than I was when I walked in,with a headache because no air circulates and there's not one fan on,yet,so many employees working with acrylic (you can imagine the strong smell) and of course,let down because all I wanted to do was get pretty and have a relaxing time getting my nails done. Worst place, they don't care for new people. I was waiting for 1 and a half hour and nobody took care of me. They kept bringing in their own customers, ignoring the new ones. I've never seen someone putting so much attention and time to make sure my toes have three coat of nail polish evenly distributed. No this is not my first time ever getting pedicure (maybe two dozens), no this is not a luxury salon, but both ladies who did pedi for me and mani/pedi for my friend made us feel very well taken care of. They go town on cleaning up your toe-nail-mess (you know what I'm talking about) and scrubbing your foot callus. That and good selection of pastel nail polish. Been here 3 times because it's so close to me and I kept telling myself maybe next time it will be better, but I'm done with this place. The first time the manicure was fine but started chipping the next day. The second time I went the girl cut my skin while cutting my cuticles and again the polish started chipping right away. The third time I walked in for a pedicure and was not even acknowledged for a good 20 minutes and that was because I went to one of the nail techs to tell them that I wanted to do a pedicure, and even after that I sat and waited, and waited and waited. I then asked how long is the wait and was told its really busy and its going to be a long wait so I left. If I wouldve known that from the beginning i wouldn't even have wasted my time just sitting there. I understand nail salons are busy especially on the weekends but at least have the courtesy of acknowledging your customers when they walk in and let them know if there's a long wait so they can decide if they want to stay or not. It seems they take preference in people coming in for acrylic. Also I don't know how clean this place is because they just dip the tools in sanitizing liquid. Never again!!!! read more

Super bummed. This place was filthy. My technician grabbed the tools with no sterilization. I have paint all over my hands, my nails are filed unevenly, and there are hairs and fuzzies stuck to almost every nail. Super cheap and the workers were nice but oof the place was diiiiiirty. read more
