Both Pauleen and Myro are incredibly talented and professional photographers. Pauleen helped make us feel entirely at ease in front of the camera with her directions and constantly hyping us up. On our wedding day, she knew all the best photo spots at our venue and was able to get us a wide variety of photos for our couple's portraits. Myro did a fantastic job getting photos of all our guests during the cocktail hour. We had several guests compliment how friendly he was and how many people he captured. In the background leading up to our wedding day, the True Photography team helped put a photography timeline that aligned with our wedding coordinator's timeline. This helped ensure we got all the photos needed included first looks, couple's portraits, family portraits, etc. No special moment was missed by the team throughout the wedding. Only the *tiniest* bit bummed, we decided to still get married and scheduled our civil ceremony. But now, I want a photographer to document this event... I think I found Emily on Instagram, after looking around at different photographers' work. I remember really liking Emily's style, how natural everyone looked, and how well Emily captured the moments. I think those were/are the most important things for me for choosing a photog, and it helped that Emily has (solid) reviews for me to go through as well. Emily was prompt in responding via email, and offered to chat on the phone to discuss the details and what I wanted. After talking for a bit, I sent over a deposit and we were set! Or not... because a week or two before our shoot, I looked at my civil ceremony appointment time and it was actually for 8am, NOT 8:30am. Yikes! I text Emily, nervous that she wouldn't be able to make the earlier time, and I would need to scramble for another photographer, but thankfully, Emily is flexible and okay with the earlier time. Phew! I also wasn't quite sure *what* I wanted from the photos (POSES? props!? specific backgrounds?!) but found some pictures I liked and sent them to Emily a day or two before our appointment, so she had an idea what I was going for. I appreciate Emily's responsiveness! The actual civil ceremony felt a little hectic; we did not know what it would entail -- paperwork, of course, and then waiting because there were other couples that were getting married that day. Thankfully, Emily was very patient. Emily is personable, friendly, and professional. She is very easy to work with, and helped the husband (!!) and I feel comfortable. Nothing felt forced, and I think she did a great job of eliciting and capturing our authentic moments. We are super pleased with the pictures and I can't stop looking at them! Lol. I would *definitely* solicit Emily's services again. Maybe for one of her fun mini shoots down the line. What a cute, low pressure and creative way to get some quality photos! My wife came across them on Yelp! and we hired them to do the photo and video shoot for my parents' 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary. Mind you, we hired them less than a month before the actual event. David and Jerome took the time to do a phone call with us and walk through the entire itinerary of the day from the ceremony at Mission San Diego through the entire reception at the Gaylord Pacific. I really enjoyed working with all of them. They were so kind, warm, and detail oriented. I can't say enough about Fate Studios and how they made this event a truly memorable event! I also pitched an idea to Jerome about doing an AI video of my parents, describing their love story and how they met 50 years ago in the Philippines. Jerome has years of experience as a filmmaker in the Philippines and has worked for one of their large TV networks there, so he's a pro. I was nervous that we wouldn't have enough time to take this video from start to finish, but Jerome assured me that he could deliver. We presented the surprise AI video to my parents after we showed their slide show and the crowd was truly mesmerized! Many of our guests told me that the AI video was an awesome concept. But let me say that David, Jerome, and their team were awesome! I feel as though I gained some friends for life. The second I met them in person it felt like I had known them for a long time. They also knew how to get my parents to take pictures. You know, once you get older the excitement for these kinds of things is not the same as when you first got married :). She immediately responded to my email and followed up with a call to introduce herself and ask questions about my family and ask what exactly I was looking for. This was the first time we used Leyna and I found her through the internet because our usual…read morephotographer was booked but I am so glad we found her and that she was available to shoot our sons first birthday party. After reviewing her website and chatting with her on the phone she was hired for the job! Leading up to the party her communication skills were excellent, she even sent me a text the day of the party to confirm what time she would be there. She showed up early and was ready to shoot! She brought a mask but I told her we were comfortable with her not wearing it, she was prepared either way which is lovely in these "Covid times". She captured the essence of the party and let everyone relax and keep their phones away. As the host of the party I could relax and enjoy time with all of the guests instead of worrying about getting group shots. I must admit I live for a good candid photo and she got so many great ones of friends and family in our backyard, I'll cherish those photos for the rest of my life. She captured the epic cake smash and lots of other moments from the party. She did such a great job engaging with our son and the other kids to get their attention at the camera. I was shocked when less than 24 hours after the event on the Fourth of July weekend she sent me the link to the photos! We knew Richwell is the man and his skills behind the lens are amazing. We had no idea he was going to save our entire wedding. We flew from Madrid, Spain to San Francisco and were home for less than 8 hours before taking off again for our wedding. We landed a few days prior to the scheduled ceremony. WE WERE WRECKED. Our body clocks were all out of whack. We had planned an impromptu wedding on our favorite beach with a small group of about 30 family and friends in attendance. With all destination weddings, the stuff leading up to the big day can be a little overwhelming. Family arriving. People pulling you in all directions. Checking on catering, music, etc. Two days on the island of relaxation and my wife was STRESSED OUT! She literally told Richwell she wanted to skip the ceremony and do just the dinner (we had gotten married at the courthouse several months prior). She was done with it. In comes Richwell to the rescue. Richwell got the phone numbers of everyone attending. He coordinated the time for them to be there. He arranged where everyone was to stand and basically set us up on the beach in the perfect location for his photographs. Our wedding turned out AMAZING. To this day we have people telling us it was the best wedding they ever attended. And let's not forget the photographs!!! SO GOOD! Richwell did a cool drone video of the beach. He shot the entire wedding and took group shots. We changed into swimwear and he did a beach shoot with us. He also took pictures at the dinner. Stunning work! Thank you Richwell!!!
