During the engagement shoot, I wanted pictures at a few different locations, outfit changes and we even involved the dogs. Stephanie was so patient, rushed around with us to get the perfect shots, and talked us through different poses! The pictures were amazing! It's so hard to pick a favorite photo when you love so many of them! Leading up to the wedding, Stephanie sent me a shot list. It asked me to include family formals, small details that she should know about, and a timeline of events. I appreciated that so much! It made me feel comfortable knowing that she was going to capture all of the small, special moments. Stephanie went above and beyond in her role as our photographer. She kept us on a timeline, was able to get my family to corporate for pictures (which is a huge task all on its own), and even helped the bridal party through a torrential downpour. She was kind, patient, and professional the entire 8 hour wedding day. When we got an email two weeks after the wedding with our pictures we were blown away! Every single picture was better than the last and we had SOOO MANY pictures from that day. The variety of pictures and quality is simply stunning. Stephanie did something very for me and I didn't even ask her to do it. She knew my Grandmother couldn't make it to the wedding and that we were going to have to FaceTime her in for the ceremony. Stephanie went out of her way to take a picture of my Grandma on FaceTime. It was something we never discussed but meant the world to me that she took the time to capture that picture. Dan takes great passport pictures that doesn't make you look like you belong in jail. I had to get…read moremy passport renewed this year so I went the usual route for getting these passport pictures taken. UPS, Walmart, CVS. Those places must have cameras they got out of the donation boxes. Your pictures turn out hideous with all of these shadows in the wrong places that makes you look like you are 100 years old. I kept thinking, wow, this is the passport photo I have to present to the immigration officer in another Country for the next 10 years! They would surely look at me funny every time. I refused to have that hideous picture pasted in my passport for the next10 years so I did a Google search for photographers who took passport photos. This is how I found Dan Harris. I also discovered that there are not too many photographers who take passport pictures so I felt very fortunate that I found Dan, just in the nick of time. The quality of the pictures that Dan took compared to the UPS ones were like night and day. I looked so elegant and regal in the picture Dan took, even with the new rules of not showing teeth when you smile. ha! Dan told me I didn't need to look angry like how the lame brain people at the UPS store interpreted the new rules about not smiling and not showing your teeth. Dan encouraged me to do a half smile with my lips closed. The pictures turned out phenomenal. And to think I paid $10 for that hideous set of pictures at the UPS Store. It is well worth the cost to have your passport pictures taken by a professional photographer like Dan since this is a picture that you will have to show the whole world when you travel, and that is the picture they will also show on the big screen if, God forbid, something bad were to ever happen to you while visiting one of these foreign countries. haha!! It is also a picture that you will be looking at for the next 10 years!
