We called ahead to make sure they were open. It would have been a bummer otherwise. When we went up to the counter to order, we said we were the Pittsburgh people who called. They were excited to see us. There were a lot of ice cream options. We sat under the patio v. at the tables in the sun. You know this is a go to place when a UPS driver stopped and had his lunch here.

Firstly, I saw the sign advertising your milkshake of the week. Tip for the management = please include the price on your sign. Also, tell us that it comes in a fancy, collector cup if that is the case. Personally, I don't want a fancy cup, and secondly, I don't want to pay over ten dollars for a milkshake. If a customer asks you if it can be made in a regular cup for less money, don't act like you are reinventing the wheel. Anyways, the young woman at the counter was very snooty. Her attitude needs an adjustment. Also, I told her to keep the change for a tip, and she gave me the change back anyway ... who does that? We had to put the cash into the tip bucket ourselves, when it was right next to her. Anyways, I ended up with a regular chocolate malt milkshake, and it had a very bad, bitter aftertaste. The novelty that makes this one stand out is the soft serve of about a zillion different flavors. It all starts with the same base and then a weird liquid squirt of some other flavor of your choosing comes in. Mostly it tastes like the chemical version of whatever you think the flavor should be. They do sell the Dole Whip products tho which are pretty bomb. Staff was friendly. They also have some freezer to fryer hot food options which we didn't try.

We all ordered medium-sized ice cream cones and upgraded to the waffle cone for an additional 75 cents. I went with their New York Cheese Cake and Mint Oreo Fudge flavors. The NY Cheese Cake flavor was on top and was very creamy! I loved how the cherries were swirled in. The Mint Oreo Fudge was an excellent closer for my ice cream cone as it was fudgy with plenty of Oreo cookie pieces and the right amount of mint flavor. The medium-size was the perfect portion too, it left me plenty satisfied. I will admit the prices might seem a tad on the high side, but the ice cream was very good and I like to support local places when I can. Overall, The Sprinkle Cone scooped out a great experience with friendly customer service and quality hard ice cream. When I come back to Jamestown, I wouldn't have any problems coming back and trying a couple different flavors!

This tiny icecream shop is owned by 2 lovely owners, Kang & Gary Garnic. They offer homemade ice cream along with various flavor options for Dairy-free/ Gluten-free people as well. I have not had any flavors that I do not like yet, though my favorite is their "Sea salt" ice cream, a nice vanilla ice cream with a little twist of salty taste that is just perfect not to mention the blue color that makes it instagram-worthy). I love their subtly sweet taste that does not scream "There is a bunch of sugar added in here". and it leaves you wanting more after you finish your scoop. There are a couple of tables inside the shop as well as on their small patio. There is parking onsite, though I believe it can be a little challenging if you come on a hot day where everyone else also wants ice cream. I am so glad they are here.
