Good service and prices aren't bad. They also have a non dairy sorbet. Cool places for sitting inside. It was an old church before becoming an ice cream place. The old pews are the seats. It has a fairly big menu for not having that much space inside. There's a mix of classic and modern flavors for a decent price. It has some healthier choices.They have a grape sorbet. Heavenly Creamery is an ice cream shop in a church. I'm always pleased to see former church buildings being reutilized. And I'm always happy to see ice cream shops. Heavenly Creamery had good selection and lots and lots of seating and standing room. You could bring a whole team of kids here after a game and everyone would not only fit but be able to walk around.. It's too bad that I don't recall what I had at Heavenly Creamery, but it was four months ago! I know I liked it. I'll be sure to go by the next time I am in Conneaut. read more

The ice cream was delicious but we didn't eat it inside because it smelled awful in there! It seriously smelled like we walked into a bathroom after someone had done their business! It was awful! This place is the best ice cream shop I have ever been to. The ice cream is all homemade in the basement. I talked to the owner: he says he makes ice cream almost every day. It's all real ingredients. People will ask why cherry is brown instead of red and he said it was because they actually use pitted cherries and not just flavoring. He also said it takes 3 days to make it- they make it, the harden it, then they soften it. The atmosphere is amazing. It's all very clean, but has stained glass and looks like an old church. LOVE that this place is an old church! It's a little bit plain inside, but I love that they've kept the altar and windows as-is. Could stand to have a little more decor on the walls, but decor doesn't make ice cream taste good, so that's really just a nit-picky comment. Standing in line, I was overwhelmed at the flavors and wanted to try at least 8 of them. I reeled myself in and asked to try 2 or 3, then placed my order. Upon hearing me comment on having wanted to try the melon sorbet and wondering aloud if the pina colada was made with real coconut (I'm allergic), the gentleman answered my question while scooping an additional taste of pina colada and melon! Mind you, the place was packed and they were closing in 10 minutes, but he still took the time to answer my questions, talk about their ice cream, and give me a sample without me directly asking for one. When I commented that their melon sorbet tasted like I bit into a frozen watermelon, he said, "It'd better taste like that, I juiced melons for 8 hours to make that batch!" Unbelievable. I appreciate good, homemade food and treats, and this is a true and rare diamond in the rough! Having grown up visiting family Conneaut, I'm thrilled to finally have tried this place and plan to make a trip (or three) there every time I return from here on out! So when I pulled up there were no cars and it didn't appear open I drove around the block and then decided to check it out. Walked in and there was a man sitting in a chair doing some paperwork. He greeted me and offered me samples. The ones I tried were great at first but had a bit of a "kick" to them on the aftertaste. I still give this place 5 stars because it offered a nice respite during my travels. Took a hour break did some work and had great conversation with the man who ended up being the owners son. If you are in the area def a great place to stop, visit, and shop local. Apparently the are constantly changing flavors and will have over 120+ each year. read more

The ice cream base is top notch, even with no flavor (plain/sweet cream ice cream) the quality is evident, add to that the unique flavors they do offer and you have a real treat. The ice cream is homemade, and they offer a variety of interesting flavored and toppings. Everything tastes great. The setting (an old church) made for a unique experience. Everything is bright inside, and in glad that many of the old church fixtures (pews, pulpit, stained glass windows) were left. They helped make this a really cool place. Simply put, Heavenly Creamery's ice cream is the best ice cream I have ever had. I got to try it this summer, and I've been thinking about it ever since. This is especially crazy because I'm not even a huge fan of ice cream. I enjoyed the butterscotch and almond mocha flavors. The flavorful ice cream has a dense, luxurious texture and tastes like it is made by people who know what they're doing. It's a marvel that they can produce such excellent quality and offer so many flavors. The shop, set in an old church, is clean, super cute, and novel. The staff is friendly, helpful, and patient.
