I would not go here. I would rip my nails off and go and get a new set done at Walmart before or wait another day before going here. I walked in the door after making an appointment after calling hundred times and no one answering the phone. So after having an appointment and going inside the establishment, it's dirty filthy. The people are rude. Extremely their English is terrible, which I'm not gonna back on that, but you should at least have some type of knowledgeable English to be able to speak to someone who can't obviously speak their language. They are telling me that I need to wait even after having an appointment because I'm waiting for someone to get there I asked them how long I'm gonna be waiting. They throw a hissy fit say 5 to 10 minutes. I tell him that's totally fine but then I'm end up sitting down and the guy end up sitting down and I was like so I've been waiting for you the entire time and he's just giving me attitude. I'm telling him what I want. He's being rude to me. I asked for a price cause I got quoted over the phone $35 for a fill Then he starts asking me what I want even though I've already told him I asked for square short white tips French tips didn't ask for anything extra extravagant and then he looks at me and he tells me he doesn't wanna do my nails so I said fine. I didn't really wanna come to this establishment because of how rude you've been. I'll take my business elsewhere. A Yelp search brought up Belleza Salon at the top with good reviews, so I booked an appointment. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the cut and color turned out fine. Not the best I've ever had, but perfectly okay. Then came the shock: $160! For comparison, I used to get my cut and color done in Arcadia, one of the nicer areas of Phoenix, and never paid more than $120, often for noticeably better results. I would have happily given 5 stars if the price matched the value, but $160 feels steep for a small town in southwest New Mexico. We moved here partly because the cost of living is lower than in Phoenix. Turns out that's true for most things, just not at Belleza Salon. 3 stars. Friendly staff, decent work, but priced well above what the experience delivers.

Both of the last times I took my child in for a haircut, I got very unfriendly vibes from Stephany, plus I had to touch up my child's haircut at home because some areas were missed or not completely cut/shaved. The last time we went, I found out we weren't even on the schedule, despite the fact I had called and spoken to someone a month prior, to set up an appointment - which was apparently never written down, thus making us walk-ins. Then, when given my total upon payment, I noticed the price went up several dollars (combined increase total for two haircuts)! I honestly don't know if I will be going back, if I have to pay more for less than decent service and haircuts now.

I…read morehad long hair and decided to go to a medium length to cut all the dead hair off and start over. I even brought a picture of how I wanted my hair cut. The girl said she could that cut and seemed confident which made me comfortable. I told her I did not want my hair above my shoulders which she said she wouldn't go that short. Well, I ended up with an uneven Bob cut above my shoulders! I will admit that she asked if I'm sure I wanted to cut my long hair before she started to chopped away but I was assuming she knew what she was doing and that it wouldn't be as short and uneven as it turned out. This is not something that can be fixed right now without going shorter which I will NOT do. Guess I'll just let nature take it course and never let anyone touch my hair again!
