Cool local spot in BK not far from Barclays. Stopped in on Friday night after a show around 1:30am. Bar was not packed but still charged $10 cover for me and $20 for my husband. Ordered a hookah which was $40 ( cash or cashapp only) flavor was good. Drinks were overpriced in my opinion, a henny and ginger ale and shot of patron was $40 in a small plastic cup. DJ was good bathrooms were typically nasty. Overall not terrible, smoked hookah had a drink and left after about an hour. read more

Me and my boys had a helluva time here on an awesome, warm Friday nite. We made it there around 10PM and the place was hardly rocking with maybe 2 handfuls of people there. We posted up at the bar for a minute and the awesome bar chicks told us that there was a 2 for 1 special on vodka drinks for a bit. We were all about that life so we got us a few. The DJ was playing some nice joints old and new and got the party rocking more and more as time went by. The dance floor area really got packed as the night went on. We came by to meet some friends of my buddy and we wanted to get a table to make sure we had a home base while we were there. We grabbed a table on the back patio and started making friends with neighboring tables. There was a TV out there showing the NBA playoff games as well. We ordered a bottle of Ciroc Coconut and a bottle of Moet Rose' to celebrate their first time in NYC. Bottle service in BK was a lot cheaper than what we would have paid in Chicago. Once we started drinking we found out we could do some hookah back there so we definitely got that going in addition to the drinks. As the nite went on I started to get hungry as there was a food smell in the air. I looked over in the corner and saw a guy setting up heating stations for food. While it was a quieter night, I had a chance to speak with the new manager who assures me it gets packed on the weekends and they will soon have a schedule of happy hour specials available and events. The ambiance has improved a lot since the new management. I like the outdoor back area the most, it's a hidden gem not apparent from the outside. This laidback lounge is so cool. No dress code, live DJs. I came on a Sunday and if reggae music is your thing this is the spot to go. It's low key located on Atlantic Avenue and no cover fee. They have a big outdoor space. And for those who like to "smoke" it's welcomed. The only thing I didn't like is that it's cash only and they don't have an ATM you have to walk a bit to get cash. I attended an engagement party and a live show celebrating Haitian artists unplugged this past Saturday. I have to say that this is a very relaxed spot. The outdoor section of the lounge gives me a caribbean feel as if I was watching the artist perform under the stars. I love the outside decor. It is a great spot to attend a chilled out event or performance. Full Service Bar with flat screen TVs. Now there is something that is definitely missing and that is FOOD......... Went here Friday night and had an amazing time!! The dj did his thing, the crowd was cool and mature, and drinks were on point. They have coat check for 3 bucks and seating areas set up for BDay parties. They also have a outside area towards the back which is amazing for nice summer nights. Sunday reggae nights is the best. The drinks are cheap, no door cover, bueatiful backyard and the best patties in Brooklyn. I had jerk chicken and bbq beef. I absolutely love that this space is owned and operated by my fellow countryman....Haiti is in the house. I love this place from the name to the logo and the overall look of the lounge. It's a fusion of Haitian and American cultures, which really works. I loved both the indoors and outdoors. I wish they served food, at least appetizers or hors d'oeuvres, but I am still brainstorming a few way to use the space for special occasions like a milestone birthday. My cousin came from miami so i wanted to take her somewhere she would have a good time.We were about to go home until the bouncer from the social butterfly from across the street suggested my cousin and i go here ( we went there first and it was an older crowd around my mothers age im 24) so we were like naw lol im glad she did though. At first she suggested milk river(never heard of it before) but it was very cold that night like in the 20's so we were gona get the car then head there but she stopped us again and told us to try this place. The indecisive Libra comes out again. It's between a three and four star for me. I attended an event in the fall which was very nice. Beauty vendors were out but while the outside space was great to capture the event, the inside was just too dark; especially since there were vendors selling their services and products as well. Customer service was good. The waiters came around with delicious deserts and took any used utensils back. The other thing that led me to go with three stars instead of four is because the lounge advertises as being pretty close to the Barclays Center but it really isn't. Indeed, it is on Atlantic Avenue, but on a winter or chilly fall day (with heels on), you definitely don't want to walk that distance. Also, not that the area is sketchy but there were barely any businesses as you went down Atlantic. It was simply stark and empty. Sure, if its a nice spring/summer day and you have flats you may fare well, but I wouldn't take the chance of walking down to the Barclay's center train stop at sunset. read more

The atmosphere is great, nice outdoor section (even though you can only hear the music if the door is open), decor is nice as well. I had 3 drinks Jack & ginger ale, bahama mama, & a sex on the beach, and 2/3 tasted quiet terrible. Jack & ginger ale was the only good drink I had last night. Bahama Mama's should NEVER taste like the one I had. I would recommend it because the music was great (Soca, Hip Hop, Kompa, Reggae, R&B), the food was bomb, it was just the drinks that were lacking. read more
