I walked in and she greeted me right away and we spent a few minutes going over the forms I filled out online ahead of my appointment. It's easy to see that Liz is very knowledgeable about acupuncture and the human body. She explained what she would do during my appointment and answered all of my questions. Liz - and the relaxing sounds and decor of her office - put me at ease right away. First - acupuncture! She inserted a few needles in my hands, face, and legs, and left me to relax. I thought I would be too alert to fall asleep, but I got used to the feeling of the needles after a moment, and the next thing I knew, Liz was back to remove them. Next - Gua Sha. Liz knew about my tense neck and shoulders and suggested this treatment. I Googled it in advance, so I knew I'd have a lot of red/purple coloring in my neck and back. I am very red, but it's worth it! My neck and shoulders are moving much more freely. I already made my next acupuncture appointment.
