I've had a great experience every time I've come to this nail salon. The place is always clean, relaxing, and the staff is professional. I switched from my old salon because of long waits and damaged cuticles, and I've never had those problems here. Appointments are easy to make, and the wait time is usually very short. Every time I go to this nail salon, I have a good experience. It's always clean, they play relaxing music, and every nail tech that I've had has been professional and produced a great product. I started coming to this salon because every time I went to my old one, I would have to wait a long time to be seen even with an appointment, and I would leave with burns and cuts on my cuticles. I never have that issue here. The longest I had to wait for a tech to be free was 15 minutes. Sometimes I call the day before to make an appointment, and that is never an issue. I like this place so much I have brought family members with me to get their nails done too. I go about every three weeks to get ANC, gel pedicure, and my eyebrows waxed. This was my first time at this nail salon and there were two things I appreciated: 1. How quickly I got an appointment (I used Yelp). 2. How quickly my nails were done (about 30 minutes). The nail tech was quiet but friendly enough. I decided to go with classic French ANC. I also went with an oval shape which I have never had before. I like it! The color is a bit pinker than I like, but the nails look surprisingly good considering how fast they were done. I did want acrylic, but many nail salons just don't want to do them. I agreed because I wanted the nails to look good and if someone is against doing acrylics, I find it is because they aren't that good at them. I would rate them a respectable 4 stars as it was my first experience and we shall see good long my nails last. I like a true manicure before getting nails, and that is not what I got, but I didn't specify. Prepping of nails does seem to vary from place to place. Overall, for the price of $45, I got a. if took me way too long to discover this place! the pedicures are such a delight - they use a steamer on you and some kind of voodoo witchery to smooth out your calluses without the use of a credo knife. I've had a lot of pedicures in my life and they're never as smooth as I hope. my first foray into ANC - I've done it all from acrylic to gel and I've never had a manicure last a full week (I'm prone to picking if there is an in) let alone 3 wonderful attention to detail and huge selection of colors and extras. id say ask for Jason but I don't want to make it hard to get in with him! I've always loved this place, my friend and I have been coming here for years. My main concern is that they aren't the most consistent which is unfortunate. The owner has done my nails the last two times I've returned and I've never had a more rushed job, some of my nails are crooked and/or the polish(ANC) didn't even cover my entire nail bed which is just lazy. Although I would recommend this place 9 times out of 10, I'd also recommend you don't go at a busy time, you may walk out dissatisfied like I have recently :( . They are very busy. I remember when they first opened, business was slower and the owner was easy going. If he seems a tad abrupt it's only bc he's trying to accommodate all these customers. He does encourage ppl to make appts. I dunno if he overbooks, but you may wait up to 15min for your appt. I walked in at 12pm on the dot, and there were like five ppl in front of me who also had noon appts. after reading some reviews, I see it's fairly common. A woman next to me brought a book to read after she was seated, which tells me she knew there'd be a little wait time. she still comes despite this, which I think says something. For Regular mani/pedi, I'll go wherever is local and convenient. However if I want some type of nail art, i always go to me time. They're the only ones I've come across w both patience and expertise. They never make me feel like a nuisance for requesting designs. They truly analyze the art and colors. It Even becomes a group effort as they sometimes enlist their colleagues for advice. I came here twice for a pedicure and I had a bad experience both times. I requested a female to do my pedicure and made it known prior on the phone call when booking an appointment. I even timed it when a female was around. I got males both times. One of the times I came in super early when they were getting in and I still got a male. I didn't want to say anything because I was with someone who was getting her nails done but I was deeply hurt at the disrespect. A woman came and opened the water for my foot tub and offered me the list of services. She was trying to upsell and get me to purchase other services. I just wanted a basic gel pedicure. I was under the assumption she was doing my nails but it turns out, she went to fetch a guy to do it when she realized I wasn't going to do extras. What infuriated me is I was sitting near a male who got a pedicure by a female while my request for a female was ignored. Some people are not comfortable with having males, which is why they book early as opposed to walk in. I was with someone so I didn't want to interrupt because that would mean them leaving too. I was literally tearing up in the chair from irritation. The guy who was doing my pedicure would throw his trash in between my legs since he was taking out the lining after. It was rude and as a woman, disrespectful. Some people are not comfortable with having males, which is why they book early as opposed to walk in. I was with someone so I didn't want to interrupt because that would mean them leaving too. I was literally tearing up in the chair from irritation. Speaking up was and is never an issue for me. So I don't appreciate this type of disrespectful response. Because if I was to speak out it wouldn't be kind, seeing this happened twice. The onus is not on the customer to remind an owner or nail techs on 2 separate occasions. The shop was called to book an appointment, so they had a heads up. These weren't walk in appointments. Plus, the woman ran the foot bath and walked off. Then a male came and took over. It wasn't a situation of letting someone "know". The 2 females who were present went to the back for a while and the guy already was getting started. If someone calls in with a certain request, it's a known fact that the establishment honors that request. It shouldn't have to be repeated to a nail tech when the actual owner was called and he has an appointment book in front of him where he can jot down something like "Female only". I gave this establishment a heads up days before the appointment, so this whole excuse that certain nail techs have certain skills is ridiculous. You were informed via a phone call prior to the day of the appointment. So you had more than enough time to make sure there was a female there. I thought it was odd that there was a female there to run the water and just to walk off for minutes into the backroom and a male came on to put his gloves and started working. Most people would think she may have had an emergency or something. But no, she just went in the back after I told her I didnt want "extras". A male came after a long time! I don't know what you mean by the "service is done". Someone could have a bad time there despite getting something "done". You have a money hungry mindset. Just because something was done, it doesnt mean it was done efficiently. It wouldn't have been a "5 minute fix" since I literally saw you turn away walk ins because techs were all with customers. I also want to mention that I was kept waiting at that foot bath for quite some time. I do not tolerate disrespect and I have been known to gather folks together, but since I was new and I wanted to give the place the benefit of the doubt, I waited patiently. By the time a nail tech even got to me, ALL other nail techs were in the middle of doing other customers. It was a horrible experience. As you can see by the disrespectful reply of the owner, it struck a nerve. Telling a customer the onus is on them to inform nail techs on 2 different occasions even though it was written down in an appointment book is asinine. I didn't want to put them in a difficult situation seeing that by the time the male tech got to me, all the other nail techs were already with customers. I have every right to write about my bad experience to give a warning to others. Your reply as an owner is despicable. All gaslighting and hostility. I'm not the one. You will never be blessed with how you are. Absolutely vile. read more

The ANC color choices are numerous and the menu of services is substantial and affordable. Get rid of winter dry patches with their leg treatment and steam. I am from out of town and needed to get my nails done before I left. I came here for a dip manicure with extension and a regular pedicure (not spa). My appointment was at 12 and they started 30 minutes which is a little frustrating but I get it...it was a Sunday and they're trying their best. Overall, the quality of the work itself is worth 3.5 stars. The pedicure was quick and kind of sloppy,. The dip mani was better but what really inspired me to write this review was the service. The nail tech, Roy, was rude and sassy when doing my mani. I keep my hands a little too steady just by nature and he made it abundantly clear how exasperated he was by it. He bitched about it in his native language to his boss, sighed and shook his head and threw down different containers to have me rest my hand in a very aggressive way. It's clearly not something I'm doing on purpose and had he been more professional about it, I would've tipped bigger to compensate for making the manicure more difficult for him. Roy bitched to his boss, the male co-owner, who very obviously engaged in the complaining conversation with him...Making it a very unwelcome experience. For the sake of the owners, I will say my friend was very happy with Emily's work. She was a gem...very friendly & attentive. The salon is clean, modern & very up to date and they do sterilize their equipment. The process they have in place for the services is thorough. You can also text for appointments which is a nice touch. Shame that their employee ruined my experience and pushed me to write this review. Went in October before a wedding. The technician (a male, there were two men, one seemed very nice, the one doing my nails was incredibly unfriendly) seemed super annoyed every time my hand wasn't in the perfect position and would quite forcefully grab it and move it, and didn't say anything when I apologized for having it out of place. He also used a dremel file (the electric files for doing acrylics usually) on my bare natural nails to prep them for gel. Literally only now, 8 months later, are my nails getting back to normal. They were left in horrible shape after he used the dremel and I confirmed that was the issue when I went back to my regular salon for a manicure, my manicurist there actually asked without any prompting there if anyone had used a dremel on my nails and they said that should never be used on bare natural nails. Literally the worst and most awkward undignified experience I've ever had at a nail salon and you couldn't pay me to return. It's a shame because the space itself is nice, and like I said other technicians seemed nice and competent, but I wouldn't risk going back nor would I ever fully trust a place that employs someone like that. Honestly, I pondered for about a week on whether or not I wanted to leave a review because I actually liked going to this nail shop. I'm a travel nurse out of town, and I live about an hour from this salon and I'd still make the drive to go this this nail and shop and I was willing to pay good money for what I wanted as well. First, I loved going to the nail tech Roy because he does great work. On the other hand, he's very rude. He always bitch about you keeping your hands steady when he's the one moving them. He'll speak and talk shit in his native tongue when he's aggravated which is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. The male owner is an asshole who's very condescending. You can't question him or tell him you don't like the work he's doing without him being passive aggressive or having an attitude. I sent him a picture to his phone of the nail art I wanted days ahead of time so they could prepare themselves and they still couldn't do it right. When I told the woman who was doing my nails that I didn't like it they BOTH caught an attitude and you could tell they were arguing in their native language. The owner ended up finishing my nails and he was aggressive with his filing and all. The price of the nails I wanted costed $70 and even though I couldn't get the design I wanted he still charged me $75. They're con artist. One thing I will not tolerate is bad service and finessing. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS SHOP AGAIN!!!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! read more

Total was 128 after tip of it was 151.00. This was the most awkward nail trip I have ever had as a BROWN woman. I did not feel welcomed, I felt rushed and honestly don't have the energy to go back and ask to get my feet fixed my appointment was at 4 pm and left there 7pm. Like wtf! They couldn't let my toes dry and keep messing up. And i asked for a soak my nails and Chris said they didn't need it! When you can see the grow from the previous set. I'm giving it three stars because my pedicure was good. My ANC was totally jacked up and they didn't actually DO a manicure. All the nails are a different shape, my cuticles never got pushed back so 5 days later there's an insane amount of space between the nail and my nail bed. All the nails are a different thickness. It looks like a trainee did it. I came here on the recommendation of a coworker and I won't be back. Idk. I got the impression that they just didn't care that much.
