Back again today for some more physical therapy! Jennifer is so amazing. Today, she asked how I was…read moredoing before our session. I must have looked sad because I teared up and told her about a family pet that had just passed. She was so kind and helped get my mind off my sadness and focus on healing. Highly recommend-

I can't say enough about this facility. I had my initial eval done by Dr. McDowell and Dr. Lipsky…read moretreated me. I ended up here after a very concerning visit to my OB's office. They told me my OB wasn't doing well women's exams anymore and that I was scheduled with his NP. I was okay with this but I also explained that he was supposed to be checking my diastasis recti, as he told me that he liked to evaluate in 6 months. They assured me she could do it. At my appointment, she pushed down on my abdomen and said "well, do you feel different?" And I explained yes, but that I honestly haven't had that little muscle in years. (Prior bikini body building competitor ... Not to mention I just had a baby - my organs were moved around for how many months AND I had an unexpected urgent c section.) She advised me to go home and "do ab exercises again, if it hurts, we know there is something wrong". As a prior personal trainer I ran out of that office and called as soon as I did, asking for a referral out. I was pretty appalled by this advice from a medical professional. It's OKAY if you don't know- but to tell someone to do something that can further damage is highly concerning. Anyway- I did some research and asked to specifically get a referral here. And I will say, this facility provided me with much more help than I knew they would! My friend told me about pelvic floor therapy, as it's big in California, and she highly suggested it. They guided me to correct my diastasis recti, taught me scar massage , scar rolling & did some cupping. This was life changing, as it made my scar 90% free of the numbness I was having. They also helped me with a couple other more personal things. Dr Lipsky was really great. Everyone in the office is very nice and professional. I tell everyone about pelvic floor therapy and about this facility. It's extremely sad to me that this isn't standard postpartum care, that no one talks about it- so many women don't know about it. But I am absolutely spreading the word because just because something is "common" doesn't mean it's "normal" or something we have to "just live with!" Thank you so much!

One in particular is Dr. Dalsania. He is absolutely the worst doctor I have ever encountered at Holmes Regional Medical Center. He does not communicate well and makes poor assumptions. He does not listen to what you have to say. I would never use this doctor . The worse bedside manner I have ever encountered at any hospital. But, overall, the doctor and nurse staff are exceptional.

The hospital on Gateway is slightly better so you may retain a bit more of your sanity by going there instead. What you first notice, when you walk in, is the security. If you expected to get to your appointment early or on time, forget about it. They wanded me with a wand that could not detect metal. Brilliant. How do I know this? Because their supervisor came over and waved it over his gun and it didn't chime. They continued using it even after I was let through three minutes later. When I get to Radiology - the place where my appointment is - they tell me I need to check in at a different place in the building. Again, if you're expecting to get to your appointment early or on time, forget it. I go all the way to where I'm supposed to check in, get checked in, then walk back to Radiology after my appointment time. Even after showing back up to the Radiology department after my appointment time, I still had to wait for a while until I got called back. The only saving grace for that star is that the tech who performed the procedure was very pleasant and efficient. Do NOT go here if you can help it
