The subsequent appointments were just as great and I would recommend this office to anyone with an acute (24-48 hr) injury to try and walk in. The care is thoughtful and it's a convenient location to get in and out easily (no parking decks or confusing office parks).

I needed L4-5 PT, but wanted aquatic PT (94 to 96 degree warm water pool designed specifically for…read morePT). From prior experience with back and knee PT, it is SOOO much easier to do PT in water than on land, particularly if you are at all overweight. Aquatic PT relaxes muscles with easier stretching, and greatly decreases the aggravation of gravity so you can really hone in on the particular muscles you need to address. I shopped four area water PT sites and asked to speak to the head PT for aquatic therapy; that separated the wheat from the chaff very quickly. Tip: If they don't return your call or if they can't be specific about pros/cons of water vs land, look elsewhere. This site is a 35 min drive from my home, but after several sessions, I can tell you it's the best for water PT that I've experienced in three states. The combo of Rebecca Stubbs, DPT and Shaughnessy Postell, PTA was excellent. Shaughnessy is a masters-level swimmer who loves the water. That added a great new level to aquatic PT, as she could easily invent ways to get to my problem areas--much more so than someone not completely comfortable in the water. That makes her A+ creative and highly effective. In addition, Compleat also offers a great 'graduate' wellness program after you finish PT: inexpensive continued access with therapists still available for questions (just not the constant supervision of a PT session). This is a terrific place--highly recommend.

If you have ongoing health…read morecare needs, find a better practice that cares anout their patients, because Luke Medical has really gone downhill over the past year or so, and it's not just one person, which is really flummoxing to me. They say they will set up additional testing, yet it doesn't happen until you call several times over the span of three weeks to remind them. When you have the testing done, they will never call to tell you the results... until you call them to remind them several weeks later. Medication refills... prepare to wait a week or more, if it ever actually gets done. I wanted to add another family member as a new patient. After I submitted the paperwork, weeks went by without a response, until I called to remind them. Since we have employer health care coverage, we pay a LOT for our medical care, and the 'care' we get from Luke Medical is not worth our hard-earned money. I can understand a business having one slack employee... and the business will usually fire that employee and get a competent one in his/her place, so as not to tarnish their reputation, but there are so many things going wrong with Luke Medical Clinic that they'd have to fire everyone and start from scratch. They did have a bunch of people leave about a year ago and go to other practices, I guess that tells volumes about this office.
