I called the number given and left a voice mail. I was called later that same day and spoke with Mr. Thomas and arranged to meet him at our residence the next day (Monday) so he could see the intended work area and provide a bid for the work. We met at the intended time and discussed the project. Mr. Thomas provided a written quote that evening and began work Tuesday morniing. The price was MORE than FAIR. His job site was maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Mr. Thomas prepped the area, removing excess soil and grass, made sure the site was level and built forms. On Wednesday he spread stone and drilled/pinned a stretch of sidewalk adjacent the work site to mitigate the slab from moving as it aged. He placed rebar strategically to ensure the concrete would support the weight of a hot tub when it was full and functioning. Concrete was delivered Thursday wtihout incident, after it set a while Mr. Thomas stamped and died the concrete to look like a continuous slab slate (it looked amazing). On Friday, Mr Thomas and his assistant returned to the jobsite to disassemble the forms, clean the jobsite (including our Trex pool deck) and seal the concrete. Bottom line is simply, our work was performed in a professional workmanlike manner. Mr. Thomas and his assistant were friendly, courteous and above all, focused on pleasing their customer. Rest assured I would highly recommend Mr. THomas for any form of concrete work that is needed. For what it's worth, he'll be returning to our home later this Summer (or early Fall) to repair shoddy work that was performed by another contractor several years ago. Yes, Mr. Thomas is THAT GOOD. I had heard that these guys did a decent job, and they were located very near my home. He came out…read moreright away to check out the job (a large patio) and talked for a while on options. That part was great. But then never heard back from him with a quote. I even called back twice, and he said that he would get it, and never a word. Needless to say, with this type of response/reliability, I would not want to hire them for a big job.
