I recall getting several ounces once, of a dark rope (I'm thinking Samuel Gawith, perhap Gawith and Hoggarth), when the proprietor jokingly suggested I might need a nite from my mom (I was over 50 at the time), due to its strength! I invariably enjoyed my visits, always chatting with the folks running the shop. Unfortunately, I've forgotten the name of the fellow who ran it, who had been a biochemist in an earlier life. He did have a very personable young lady assisting whose name may have been Keely (but I'm bad with names). I moved from the area in 2016, and gave up smoking altogether in 2019, but have nothing but fond memories of the times I visited them.

Just like the first time, he said he was going to give me a special deal, and pay $25 instead of $30. Unfortunately, that battery's threads were faulty so I took it back five minutes later and exchanged it. But again, unfortunately, that battery quit after using it for a few days. I took it back in yesterday to exchange it. Obviously, this brand has some issues, but the owner again told me he was going to give me a great deal and sell me another 510 battery instead of replacing the one that didn't work. We went back-and-forth a little bit, and I left frustrated and with a useless battery.
