A spring on our garage door broke yesterday morning. King door scheduled an appointment that day with a 2 hour window. I received a text about 15 minutes before the technician, Jason, arrived at our house. The text included his picture so I knew for sure who to expect. Jason was helpful and courteous and quickly changed out the broken spring as well as the 2nd spring attached to our unit. So my story with King Door goes this way in 2019 I had them install a garage door along with the coil. Today the coil snapped. I called and person who answered the phone told me that my garage door only have a year warranty and I would have to pay $400 for a new coil didn't like that answer so I wanted to speak to a manager. The manager returned my call and told me that I have a three-year warranty needless to say my warranty was up last month so my beef is I'm not gonna pay $400 for a coil when I had a garage door and a coil prior to this one that lasted me 10 years and I've never had to replace the coil. By the way they told me that they could do the coil for $350 will be due saving me 50 bucks I would not recommend this company again are used them because I had confidence in them but I don't any longer. read more

Our 20 year old garage door had finally started to some metal fatigue and looked like is going break anytime. I called King Door because we've used them in the past to repair a broken spring and they did a great job and were fast and a good price too. They also repaired an opener at a house we were selling, and again the techs were great and super fast and did a great job. They had a tech out to give us an estimate the next morning. His name was Alex or Alan (I can't remember exactly) ... he was the same tech who worked on the house we sold. He was great ... walked me through all the options, but didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need or want. When it came time for the install the tech's name was Ricardo, same thing, he was courteous and professional and got right to work ... he replaced the panels on the garage door opener. Very clean install. We have a finish garage with a beam running right behind where the opener needed to be mounted. Not easy ... but it looked great when he was done.
