They helped us understand some of her behavioral issues, because she is new to us, we wanted to better understand her, so we could help her. They helped us figure out the different breeds, because she's a mix of a bunch, and we have a much happier pup just by making a few little changes. It's made the biggest difference in our life as a family with our dog. Plus, they're kind, they don't rush you, and they're not over priced! We are so grateful to have found Littlepage!

So decided to take him in. Wait time was very very very long. Girl at front desk wanted us to fill out forms online on our phone I asked do they have paper forms because we had trouble trying to pull the forms up on our phone, and she said we do. But we finally loaded papers on the phone. Sat in the lobby for a long long time, then finally got into a room, waited there a long long time too, finally the assistant came in took my dog to get some test done, brought him back sat there some more time for a while finally the veterinarian came in told us what he had, Interdigital Dermatitis and what she was giving us and she spoke very fast and I asked if they could do a nail trim. She said they can do that for us. She left, waiting even longer I counted at least 7 people walking past our cracked open door. About 25 minutes waited. 3 girls were just standing and sitting at the front lobby desk talking and the other 4 came up talked to them about stuff and walked back to where ever they came from. Finally one of the girls came took our boy back to get his nails trimmed. Came back and we were happy with the nail trim. I asked how much the cone was that they were trying to get us to buy. Something like $25. 00 I said I have one at home same size we will use that I bought from petco and kept. Thank God for keeping that cone . We were finally happy to get out of that place. Took up most of our day. The doc did say I can keep giving my dog Benadryl with the antibiotics they were prescribing for us. While giving that antibiotics to him and Benadryl at different times he still wanted to get to his foot and chew, had to watch him closely even when he had the cone on. But after a while I guess they kicked in and worked. He's doing much better now. Thanks to the antibiotics. Anyways we came here because Saturday our vets office was closed and this place was open. I am very displeased with the wait time especially for an emergency facility with lots of people there. There's a place up north where we used to live that I wish was down here near us called Pender Veterinarian Centre. They were the best of the best!!!! No issues at all with that Place. One of my past pets had an issue we called while driving him there for an emergency and I carried him up the steps through the door the people at the desk said go through the doors to the back while one opened the door for me. They opened another door and I was carrying him through and saw 5 people around the table ready to help my dog that I had in the past. They all were ready to help my baby boy. Made me feel like this places is going to help and treat my dog. I miss that place soooo much. But I had taken the day off work, woken up crazy early and driven over an hour to get there, so I decided to wait in line anyway. After about 90 minutes waiting in the off-putting "pound stink" of their building, my dog was finally checked in and I was next to hand in my paperwork. I guess the lady taking paperwork got the news that a vet had called out sick or something, and casually announced that anyone with a female dog might have to be rescheduled. Whatever, right? They then explained that the remaining vet didn't know how to spay a larger animal (larger meaning 34 pounds). I'm sorry, what? You have a vet that doesn't know how to spay a dog? I put on her paperwork that she would need trazodone, and then had to remind them in person and over the phone a total of four times before finally getting the medicine. Finally, they didn't bother getting my dog out of the second-level kennel, they just had me come back to the back and get her myself. So I lifted my urine-covered dog out of the kennel, turned around and the tech had just left. I saw myself out. I'm not sure if there's a system for investigating this kind of place or how veterinary malpractice works, but this place needs to shut down. A note to the clinic: trust me, I've seen how much you guys like to argue with negative online reviews. Don't bother, I'm not interested.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, kind, and clearly cared about every pet that came through the door. Pre-registration online was quick and easy. We showed up at 7:30 AM on a beautiful morning, and even though the weather was perfect for waiting outside, the team graciously invited us in. Everyone in the queue seemed pleased and thankful--there was a calm, grateful energy in the room that really stood out. I saw many, many cats being brought in for surgery too, and the staff handled everything smoothly and with heart. While we waited, I noticed how patient and attentive the team was with other pet parents who had lots of questions. Nobody was rushed, and everyone walked away feeling reassured. When it was time to pick up Coco, I received clear, caring instructions about what to expect in the days ahead. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. After such a positive experience, I'm genuinely surprised by the low Yelp rating. It was a very sad and emotional bet visit but Dr Huntsman was so empathic, kind and nurturing. She made the situation so much better. Her words were kind and heart felt.
