I got here after coming back from a camping trip and the food was so good. As a pizza enthusiast I eat a lot of it and I have not had a pizza that has tasted so good in a WHILE. The service was also amazing with them treating us well and making sure that we had everything we needed when we sat down. Had my reasons to stop going here a year or so back , today we got take out. Hamburgers use to be one of the best in town. Now it's all bun and a thin piece of meat ( hopefully) it's meat. Nothing even close to what they had. So here where are once again. Also had a fish dinner in the mix and father-in-law said it was all breading and didn't taste like fish,,,if your looking for pizza or wings you may be good to go, outside of that , roll the dice. read more

Have eaten here for years, and was good, but we ate there today after their reopening and it has really changed for the worse... the salad bar was ok, but i had gyro plate and what a joke... The plate had two small pita breads and then some french fries on top and then some kind of meat that looked like thin slices of the heel of my shoe, but tasted worse. No lettuce, no tomato,no olives. Just a small thing of sauce. Was not edible... They lost a customer forever with that stupid trick. Avoid at all costs! read more

I just had the second worst meal from Dunlap's Pizza King. Last time I had chicken wings, so overcooked, dry, and rock hard, that I had to throw them away. This time I ordered 2 large pizzas at 4:45. I was told 20 minutes. I got there at 5:00 and paid. At 5:35 I finally got the two boxes. When I got them home, both pies were so overcooked that the cheese was tough, and one pie actually burned on one side. The crust was thinner than usual (not allowing the dough to rise?), and was chewy like a rubber band, not at all either bread like nor crispy. Arrrrrgg. One thing about Pizza King that you have to keep in mind is that this is a mom and pop restaurant in chain country (actually, Dunlap is a very rare treat in having several mom and pop places. This is almost unheard of in small towns in the south). In my experience in the South (I've lived here for twenty years) when you are in a town this size your pizza options are Pizza Hut, Domino's or Little Caesars. This place would be 5 star even in a bigger city, with lots of competition. First up, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Second, the location has plenty of comfortable seating inside and out. Third, the prices are great. One thing to keep in mind the pizza is always buy one get one free, which is kind of weird to me because that just means the cost is the cost for two pizzas. But, what if you don't want two pizzas? They cut the price in half and then add two dollars. It's still a great price. The calzones are around 7 or 8 bucks. My wife and I can split one and both be full for less than ten dollars. Fourth, and most important the food is excellent. Flavorful and quality all the way. If you find yourself in Dunlap eat here for sure! read more

We love this place! BOGO pizza is always a hit with my kiddos, and they offer free wifi and have tvs going for anyone needing a distraction. They do offer sandwiches and other fare, but we have only ever tried the pizza because it is so good. read more

My husband and I were visiting paragliders to Dunlap and asked the local paragliding instructor for a recommendation of where to eat and he suggested Pizza King as one of his go-to restaurants. We went on a Sunday evening and had the Grecian Chicken special, for $5.75 you get a marinated chicken breast with rice, salad and three bread sticks and it was DELICIOUS! We decided to go back the next afternoon to try their pizza and to our surprise it was buy one, get one free, so we both got a small 10" pizza (specialty one) and my husband said "I think this is one of the BEST pizzas I have ever had in my entire life!" It was so good! The staff is friendly and everyone seems to know everyone, nice small town feel. Next time we come back to Dunlap to paraglide, we will be back to Pizza King! :-) read more

Pizza King has great pizza. You can't beat their buy one get one free, any day of the week. The pizzas are usually loaded down with toppings and delicious. But they also serve other food, which is just as good. I am huge fan of the their gyro plate. The people there are very friendly. It has indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting). There are a few video games for the kids. It is always clean. If you have a group that you want to get together they have the room for you to do that. Definitely worth stopping in for a bite to eat. read more

Pizza King is a wonderful place to eat! It has a very friendly environment and offers free Wi-Fi. Their pizza is delicious and is BOGO, however the other items on their menu are delicious as well. My personal favorite is the chicken florentine; a delicious chicken breast covered in spinach and cheese served over rice along with a side salad. The cucumber dip is TO DIE FOR. You can order this with pita bread. 10/10 would recommend. read more
