I've noticed Salon West in my neighborhood and in an effort to tame an uncontrolled mess thanks to self-isolation, I walked in on a whim. The front desk staff were incredibly polite and kind. The place was immaculate and had a cool artsy, modern vibe coupled with plenty of sunlight. When I asked if they took walk-ins they said yes and that King was available who had over 27 years experience. It is a cozy studio nested away in Lakeway. Since it is a smaller studio, it allows for a more personal experience. There are no other stylists, its just you and King, which I really liked. Since I hadn't had a haircut in quite sometime, I gave King a few ideas I had and let her do her thing. To my pleasant surprise, my hair came out beyond what I had expected. I have never had a haircut that complements me this well! She kept my preferred length while giving me tips on hair health.
