I went in for a leg wax which was advertised at $35 plus. This means $35 per leg. Also, I was put in a very small area. I had to prop my feet on a small trashcan. The tech could barely move around without crashing into things. She ended up putting the wax bowl on the floor. She did the best she could with what she had but poor thing looked haggard. There was so much wax left on my legs that my dress was sticking to it. And I will have to shave tonight because there are large patches not touched. I would've put zero stars if that were an option. But I can't get over the price. It clearly says legs 35+. Plural. I could've done a better job with the Walgreens wax strips. This is supposed to be a high dollar salon. We went in on 11/26 for a full set of acrylics and a pedicure. The pedicure my boyfriend got he said he loved and it was very good. My acrylics were the opposite. I'm not a confrontational person so I kept going back and forth on whether to say something. I showed the lady this inspo picture (the white nails) and unfortunately got nothing like it. They look unfinished, uneven, and are so sharp they could draw blood. The vibe was great and relaxing I just wish the product was better for what we paid. read more

This place is wonderful and the people are nice. I went in for a full set and pedicure. I got their $55 pedicure with gel. It was the best pedicure I have had in awhile. They had massaging chairs and I received a heated neck pillow......yassss. T really took his time and gave me the best foot massage. I say pay for the upgrade it is worth it. My nail tech was Alaina and she was awesome!! We discussed what I was looking for and reviewed some pictures. She is not only a good nail tech but a awesome designer. Everyone in the place had a bad attitude! Not to mention the ladies walking around dressed up looking over everyone made me uncomfortable, I felt like they were running a sweat shop or working at a casino watching for cheaters. I chose a pedicure which I felt was overpriced. I asked them to trim my nails and file which were filed crooked. Then a filing machine wheel was used to file tops of my toenails. Paint was so thick it didn't cure even by next day and my nails were smudged and paint screw up. I had toes done after lunch on a Saturday. Will never go back!! read more

This is honestly the best nail salon I've been to. We walked in, despite it being packed there was enough workers that we didn't have to wait. We walked in and they sat us down. The atmosphere is nice but to be honest the service is subpar. The first time I ever went I got black dip powder nails. whatever they use for their topcoat is not good because it peels off almost immediately I went back the next day and asked them to redo the topcoat I thought maybe it was just a mistake. But the second time I got it it was still flaking off so I took them off and painted my regular nails black. This time I went and figured I would get acrylic since the dip didn't work well last time. I asked for bright white nails and when they didn't come out how I wanted to I asked her if she could paint over them she said no! I shouldn't have to go home and fix my own nails. I PAID $45 for nails I don't like!! The toe polish wasn't great either, can still see through the polish. read more

Okay, this is my 3rd time going back and you would think the 3rd time would be a charm but it wasn't.. Loved my nail design it was cute but I got them done on June 15th on June the 18th I started get lifting I went to go get that fixed on June the 22nd but unfortunately June the 23rd lifting again after it was fixed!! I paid 10$ June the 22nd but they didn't make me pay on the 23rd it is now June the 28th still lifting I paid 165$ nails & feet plus fixed it for 10$ honestly you only paying to sit at a place that looks fancy don't expect your nails to last 3/ 4 weeks cause it's only lasting 1 week and you back to wasting your money don't get me wrong there's only a few that will make your nails look good this place is just fancy trust me it's not worth it but if unlike wasting money go ahead! & also horrible job on my toes. She had a horrible attitude bc she said she didn't feel well and it definitely showed in her wk. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! Well I drove 6 1/2hrs for a BOOKED appointment to get a manicure & pedicure. The pedicure was nice and the tech was very polite. The problem came in after my pedicure was done. I was seated at a mail station, and told to wait there a tech would be with me shortly; keep in mind this was at 9:50AM. About 15/20 minutes had passed without anyone acknowledging me. Some time later a group of 3 Caucasian women walked in for services and I was asked to get up and move so the group could be seated. There were several other stations open, so asking me to move was mistake #1. Within 5 minutes of the group being seated, nail technicians were already pulling up their carts and had started servicing the party of 3. After waiting another 5 minutes another Caucasian lady was seated next to me, and had began receiving her services as well while I just sitting there. At this point 30 minutes had gone by without me being serviced so I decided to leave! Never again will I waste my time or money at this place. Worst place I have ever gotten my nails done at! They placed me with someone who was learning and had no idea what he was doing. I asked for French, when I saw it was so bad I asked for a different color and he didn't even bother removing the previous gel and he just started painting on top of it. Nails looked horrible and lumpy, the edges looked like a 5 year old painted them , then they placed me with someone else to fix my nails , who barely did a good job , they are not detailed at all. I can't recall a time when I have written a review, and especially a negative review, but several hours after my appointment I am still frustrated. The tl;dr is don't bother with this place if you want a good pedicure, you won't get what you pay for. I came in for a pedicure and was in need of a nice massage so I went for one of the more expensive options in order to increase the massage time to 25 minutes. The menu of pedicure options they present to you clearly states that the massage starts after the exfoliations. My nail tech Thuy did the usual cuticle trim and nail shaping. Then she got out the timer, set it for 25 minutes and started it. From there she spent 1-2 minutes taking out instruments, got up from her chair and went to the back for another 1-2+ minutes and then came back and put the EXFOLIATING sugar on my legs along with lotion. When she washed that off I looked at the clock she set and there were 18 minutes remaining. I asked to see the menu again (to be sure I had read the fine print correctly) and she then stopped the clock and argued with me that because she added lotion to the exfoliation that is a massage. After trying to explain to the manager with no luck I gave up and just tried to enjoy the massage time I had left. However, I never even got a massage. What I received was a bit of rubbing with hot stones, another several wasted minutes when she went back to the back again, and the final 6 min spent with her nowhere around and my feet sitting in the paraffin wax. The timer went off for a 30-60 seconds before it finally stopped on its own because, again, she was no where around. When I went to check out I said something to the manager - I mentioned that even after stating my concern early on, the service continued to go downhill. His response? A shrug and a "oh sorry." Wtf! No customer service, no true concern, no attempt to rectify the situation. On top of that, 3 hours later and the polish on my baby toe has lifted off. My prior experiences here weren't amazing but lesson learned. Never again. read more

Then the last time I went I went get gel feet and a gel refill they charged me 80$ then I told the lady it wasn't right and she said it was an "accident " for over charging. And on top of that I had to deal with a creepy man doing my feet saying how beautiful I was , rubbing my feet twice saying creepy things to me , asked if I lived alone, and a lot more. The service was absolutely terrible. I was sitting with my feet in cold water for 30 minutes before anyone came to help me. I had Kelly doing my nails and she did a halfway job and completely rushed. My "massage" was terrible and all she did was sit there and barely rub my legs for about 2 minutes. Also the hot towels they gave me were cold and she barely kept those on before taking them off. Ok so this is my HORRIBLE experience with King J. I got my nails done Tuesday, Aug 4th. It was a new set and I was charged 80 dollars (not including tip) because two nails had diamonds. I usually don't pay that much for my nails but I did because I THOUGHT it was quality work. Two days later a lot of my diamonds were falling off. Three days later my nail completely broke off and blood was everywhere. On Monday, August 17 I went to get it fixed. They charged me 15 dollars because they said it was the nail with the "diamonds" I thought that was unfair because I had just got them done and my diamonds had mostly fallen off anyway AND I paid a lot of money for the diamonds. The guy at the front desk told me if I would have came when It started cracking or lifting it would have been free but since my nail broke in half he has to charge. Literally the next day my other finger with diamonds started to crack so I went back so they could fix it before It completely broke in half. They refused to fix it without me paying 10 dollars. I even told them I was told it would be free to fix any nails (including nails with diamonds) if I came before it completely broke off. The "manager" Ms. Cathy was very rude, had a nasty attitude, and kept cutting me off. She made it very clear she could care less. She would not even listen to me. I even tried to show her pictures of how bad my nails were breaking and she barely glanced. Now an additional nail has broken. In conclusion, in 9 days of getting a new set, 3 nails have broken. I completely wasted my money. This place needs to work on their customer service. It is very evident they only care about money. Not the customers. No one has time and money to just throw around. If my nails were done correctly the first time I wouldn't have these problems. I will attach pics of how badly my nail broke and how my diamonds didn't even last a few days . Critical: Quality, Value The salon itself is cute, and I was excited to go because I heard good things. I couldn't have been more disappointed, though. Firstly, my nail tech Alaina sanded my nails down so much that one cracked halfway down my nail bed less than 24 hours after getting them done, and 3 others broke within the week. Second, she kept telling me she couldn't do the coffin shape on my nails because they were "too short" - but they were quite long and I've never had any issues with getting that shape at any of the other salons I've been to, even when they were shorter. Third, she sanded too close to my cuticles and they started bleeding - ALL of them. They were very inflamed, too. I couldn't even get water on my hands without it burning like crazy for days afterwards. Fourth, the top coat they used on my dip powder was gel and it started peeling off after 4 days. Overall, not a great experience and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I messaged them on Instagram expressing my concerns and they responded with a generic "sorry" message and offered a discount on my next service - but didn't respond when I asked how much of a discount it would be, even though they had seen it. Very unprofessional. For $45, I expected better service at the very least. I ended up going to my usual salon after a week to have the dip removed. It's now been about 6 weeks since my visit to this salon and my nails are still so thin and weak that they crack all the time. read more

I arrived at the salon around 6:20ish for a pedicure after a long day of work. I knew the salon would be closing soon so I kept that in mind when selecting my service. Still in desperate need to relax, I selected the 40$ pedicure with orange to de-stress. Following my check -in, it took some time for me to select my pedicure and for the employee to prep and start the actual pedicure. My issue is that based on the menu my pedicure should have lasted 30-35 mins and 5 minutes for massage time. She was done with my pedicure and began my gel polish at 6:49pm.I don't wish to take anything away from the tech because the nails were okay. I am just upset that I paid for a 35-40 minute pedicure and received half of the experience. When explaining to the front desk attendees, two males, they persistently reasoned that the time listed on the menu is an estimated time (false advertisement) and that some techs do nails faster than others (I wasn't complaining about nail service, my concern was actually pertaining to the duration of my pedicure).
