This is so sad that churches will make you feel good but not fill you with the Holy Ghost . They are completely scared of offending the masses and just give them baby teaspoons of Spirit of God. Not saying they aren't contributing. However I can't can't remember very many times I haven't felt full of the Spirit and challenged to walk it throughout the week, here. It's a completely different space/ atmosphere, like walking into a different world. That's something I long for and have been missing for years. Thank you again for the pastors leading and his amazing family that leads worship and the tribe that has created a perfect temple for God's presents to dwell in.

From the luxury of the surroundings reminiscent of the old cathedrals, you are greeted by warm welcoming family and smiles all around. The halls are filled with reminders of our faith much like the stones Joshua was told to erect after crossing the river Jordan. The art is amazing and attests to the heart of the painter toward the Lord. The stain glass inside the sanctuary reminded me of the light that you see coming thru it in any cathedral of Europe. Yes, it was breathtaking, and as well it should be, IMHO. Even the bronze of Jesus and the washing of feet before you open the doors of the church is telling you exactly what you are in for-Mr Duplantis and family are gonna wash your feet :) Inide, there is a small bookstore for your purchasing enjoyment and there is a coffee bar in the foyer as well. Restrooms at the end of the hall are large and very well lit, clean, and art adorns those walls as well. I enjoyed the mother and child that greets you as you enter and leave the facility. It gave me a reminder of who I am, tenderly. Now the service....wow. I got to be a part of an active, moving praise team. And the Spirit was alive, let me tell you. it hung like rain on the lips of the Worship leader as she led us in one Holy Roller praise and worship session. And those who accompanied her on stage were a delight to watch and sing with as well. The first Sunday we were there, out came Mr Duplantis himself and delivered a fine sermon that motivated the congregation to move and shout 'Glory!" I had a blast in the Spirit here. We hit the Wednesday evening service as well and found the speaker engaging and informative, talking about faith in action. The next Sunday was Mr Haskins and the musical talent of 'Aha!'-you want to talk about some fine talent in the Lord, well there he is. And the Youth Group that attended his performance are a joy to see as well. So-Mr Haskins gets started after Mr Duplantis gives us a word and it breaks out in the Spirit as well. I think Mr Duplantis invited Him and Mr Haskins kept Him around a bit longer, as we languished in believing what was being preached. It was a stirring and emotional, educated and alive as I have not seen in a long, long, long time. Thank you for being a part of my healing, Mr Jesse Duplantis and Cornerstone church. May God Bless this ministry and allow me to actively participate in what is going on here.

This place is very disappointing. There is no community outreach otherwise there would be an…read moreinfusion of youth and energy in this place. With football games and stadiums full of energy around the country, this place is less than 1/5th Full. It is completely incomprehensible that while stadiums are full, this place has every other bench isle roped off, but there's not even enough people to fill the other seats. If you want to snooze in the middle of the day this is a perfect place to go. Not only does something feel off here, if you're looking for a place full of energy, to keep you awake during a spiritual teaching, this is not the place. I've had dentist appointments that were more exciting than attending this spiritual center. Where is the youth? where are the parents and the children? One hast to ask these questions, because if it church is dying it is dying because of its leadership and it is not bringing in parental units with their children to teach them what is A very productive message. However the delivery must be as exciting as the message itself. I have been here five times and out of those five times there has not been much in the way of different faces or bodies filling the seats. A spiritual center which can seat approximately 300 is seating about 25 people. That tells me not only does this have to do with the ridiculous mandates and laws against spiritual centers and churches and how many people may attend, it also Makes a very strong statement about how the community Embraces or excepts a particular spiritual center. If you're looking for a snooze fest this place is it. What happened to this place? It started out with an industrious and glorious past. It looks as if it's fallen on hard times. This can only be attributed to the inability of leader ship to pull people in from the community. They need great oratory Speakers, not mediocre ones. It would seem they just don't have what it takes to create a level of excitement around a spiritual commitment. In a case like this, soft spoken demure and whisper type oratory does not keep the energy up or the excitement circulating. A lecture is what is done in a college or University Hall. A teaching must be able to reach the congregation on a personal level. Pragmatic is fine, but lacking exuberance and enthusiasm does not keep the attention of your congregation. Possibly, this is exactly why this place isn't Filling 1/5 it's seats. Unity, standing there since probably the 1950s has not progressed to become a leader and its own community. I've had more excitement getting my teeth cleaned in the dentist chair. I guess this visitor to New Orleans is going to need to find another place where the energy is uplifting and the message is clear and the people filling the seats I'm not on their way out, but are on their way in and ready to live life.

The people are genuine and provide very good updated religious findings. An atmosphere where you will inner peace and equanimity. So, if you haven't visited this location, you need to stop eating early lunch, and first make it a priority to visit Mary's Helpers and participate in the readings of the Rosary.
