I chose Dr. Roy King as my daughter's orthodontist in 2016. I had researched over ten local well-respected orthodontists and visited the top three. Dr. King was the last visit and his professional knowledge and the manner in which he interacted with both myself and my daughter made him the clear choice. I found the staff to be kind and accommodating as well. They are pleasant, knowledgeable and treat patients and each other with kindness and respect. Ashley and the rest of the staff have always worked to accommodate my schedule, even at the last minute on many occasions. All scheduled appointment were always on time, which I find absolutely amazing for a doctor's office in Florida! Finally, a doctor that respects that our time is valuable as a parent.. Probably the thing I admired the most about my daughter's orthodontic experience was that Dr. King spent quality time with her on every visit. Answering questions and keeping her grounded when it came to the "I want my braces off ASAP!" chant. She was very happy when her braces were removed and realized that perfection takes time. Long review, but great service and excellent experience. So much so, that I chose Dr. King as the orthodontist for my other daughter as well. She was a harder orthodontic case and the other orthodontist I spoke to were suggesting surgeries and various appliances, which made my daughter and myself very apprehensive. Dr. King knew exactly what to do and was able to treat her without any surgeries. The fact that he loves what he does and lives and breathes orthodontist makes all the difference, he is up to date on all of the latest technology. My second daughter just had her braces removed and the results are amazing. I just completed treatment with Dr.Roy King at Jupiter Orthodontics. I am so happy with my results. His office runs like an expensive Swiss timepiece. If your appointment is scheduled for 10am, you will be seen at 10am. I never waited in my twelve months of treatment. The staff is friendly, considerate, and most important, competent. When my treatment was complete, I asked for an Essex retainer. It has a wire instead of the acrylic type that cover the teeth. I offered to pay extra, but there was no further fee. Dr. King and his staff are meticulous and a pleasure to work with. Both of my kids had to have their jaws shifted (which took a year for each of them) and then were in braces for over a year. Dr. King wouldn't take off the braces until their smiles were "perfect." My kids are thrilled with their beautiful smiles. The staff is great about fitting you in for any problems (poking wires, etc.), and after close to five years of appointments, I can say there is never a long wait.
