About 2 years ago, I had really bad foot pain, it took several Piezowaze Therapy appointments to help finally fix it (about 6ish months of every other week appointments). And the pain hasn't come back ever since. When Hena was added to the team, it made this practice even better. Prior to Hena, Dr. Lee did dry acupuncture too but just a little bit and mostly focusing on where I tell him the problem area is. Now that Hena was added. It's not always focused on pain, sometimes if I tell her that my brain fog is particularly high that day or I'm having alot of anxiety, she is able to do certain acupuncture points that helps with that. One particular day, my anxiety level was pretty high, and whatever point she hit, I weirdly felt instantly blissed out haha. That's the first time I felt that with acupuncture. I was very relaxed that day. The blissed out feeling doesn't always happen, but I definitely trust her. She also introduced me to cupping and I am now obsessed with it. I never knew anything about it before, and it's crazy how much it actually helps relieve my back tension and how it detoxes the body. I have known him for over 25 years and his knowledge of applied kinesiology has made the difference for me. Where other chiropractors often do the same neck cracking procedures on almost every patient and have you come back again and again for only temporary relief, I have not found that to always be helpful in relieving recurring back and sciatic pain. In applied kinesiology it is often not necessary to do any neck torqueing. His ability to ask your body where it needs to be adjusted (and get body confirmation before proceeding) makes for much more precise and effective interventions. Rob is also a very caring, conscientious doctor who makes himself available when you need him. I consider him to be a blessing in my life and have referred many people to him. From the very first appointment I felt like I was in a safe place. He has excellent beside manner and is very knowledgeable and personable. He talks to you the whole visit and is genuinely interested. I don't know if everyone sees this next point as extra valuable but I do, he listens. I have recommended him to others and when I see them again they have praises about their experience as well. If I am being honest I have never had a bed experience as the front of the office staff is just as nice and welcoming. You get greeted by name and warm small talk, they too are great listeners. I was recommended to see Dr.Goicochea by my OBGYN. She found a nodule on the left side of my…read moreThyroid. First of in his office there are a lot of "Best of..." plaques. Obviously he is very good and has many years of experience. He did an Ultrasound and two biopsies to decide for the best procedure. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything with patience the entire time. It is hard to understand all these medical terms but he had patience and made me feel as comfortable as I could feel. The first biopsy was pretty painless and over fast. The second one needed more specimen for a special DNA test and was a bit more uncomfortable but still totally fine. After results came back 60% probability for cancer he suggested to get only half of the thyroid removed. He also gave me the option to remove the whole thing because a lot of people choose that for peace of mind. I chose to remove half. My procedure was done at the Massachusetts Ave Surgery Center On surgery day he came to talk to me before the procedure. Explaining what's going to happen. He is so calm and professional it makes you feel better. Surgery went great. I woke up sore to swallow but ok. The first 3 days of recovery were sore and than pretty good after that. So I'd recommend to take 3-4 days off of work. The incision is healing up nice after a week and a half. It looks like the incision is going to be pretty nice and clean. I got stitches from this inside so no stitches scars to come. Yay Thank you Dr.Goicochea for taking care of me. I will recommend him to anyone that has to deal with Thyroid issues

My first…read moremeeting was informative, I did not realize the severity of my situation but he advised me to get specific testing so he would know to proceed with surgery. After results came back, we scheduled surgery within 2 weeks and I was TERRIFIED however many of the nurses at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital let me know they have never seen incisions as clean and virtually unnoticeable as his. The surgery went very well, lasted about 3 hours (I was slightly a special case) I barely had a sore throat and resumed normal life the day after. His bedside manner is awesome and he definitely put me at ease as this was my first surgery. He has also worked on close family friends of mine and they all say the same of Dr. Goicochea! Highly trained, knowledgeable and professional.
