Originally seeking treatment for chronic low back pain and frustrated with my original chiropractor due to the lack of progress on my condition, I decided to research highly reviewed chiropractors in Montgomery county, and came across Synergy Chiropractic's yelp page. Her stellar reviews piqued my curiosity and decided to schedule an initial appointment. Well, 2 years after being under her care, I am delighted and enthusiastic in recommending her services to anyone seeking bespoke and effective chiropractic sessions, where Dr. Amanda actually takes close to one full hour in treating your condition. Dr. Amanda is simply incredible. She uses a combination of nerve and muscle testing alongside activator therapy (no cracking, just a small spring-loaded device the size of a marker) and light manual adjustments to trim pain and enhance range of motion. Every surgeon from Emory and Harvard medical systems has told me that surgery is my best option after the cortisone needles and PT didn't do much for my problem. I saw a chiropractor for many years who was good and kept away the pain, then he retired. Just wanted to add another reason why I love these doctors, I choose to see them for any aliment over my regular physician. This past week while at work, I noticed my ankles and feet were sore and swollen, which is something I never experienced in my life before so I went to the Emergency Care Clinic near my office. Amanda is an unique doctor. She is the best chiropractor i ever visited. I believe the reason is because she does more than crack joints. Her expert understanding of a wide area such as chiropractic, kinesiology and nutrition is very unique. Not many know more in depth how to treat my occasional pain in the neck. In 3 visits she took care of one pain in the neck that extended through my shoulders and right arm that i had been living with for close to 1year even after going to 2 other chiropractors.She does a comprehensive health evaluation over 2 hours on the first appointment. Follow up visits take about 1 hour. After my last visit a few days ago i felt like i was walking on clouds. Joints perfectly aligned and moving freely. She finds issues even where i learned to disregard. Her referral for a comprehensive micro nutrient test uncovered nutritional areas i need to focus on instead of just taking those do all vitamin pills and hope for the best. She combines expertise of muscle, bone functions and nutrition and treats me in all those areas on each visit. I would need to visit 2 or 3 different specialized doctors over a long time to get the same outcome i get with her on a few visits. I pay out of network, but it actually costs less over time when compared to the in network copays multiplied by 3 visits or more that a regular chiropractor may want to see me over a few weeks/months for a 5min crack and pray session while i visit her once or twice a month during the initial adjustments. I have even taken my 300 lb football player son to her office for adjustments and he does not seem to complain about the pains he complained about before. Next it will be the ladies at home to get a checkup. In summary. This is the best doctor i have seen in a long while. Don't let her apparent young looks make you think she may not be able to help. I broke my ankle in early January. It hadn't previously occurred to me to see a chiropractor for some of the discomfort I still had two months later. In mid-March, I saw Dr. Amanda and she looked at my ankle and found an issue not with the way it was healing but with the surrounding muscles not firing correctly. I am male, 29, 67 inches, and 162 lbs and I have recently gotten my high blood pressure under control without the use of medication by receiving treatments that far exceeded my expectations here at SynergyChiros.
