I decided to use King Moving Company based on the positive reviews on Yelp. My wife and I were very impressed with the professionalism of the moving team. We had a small move that required transporting a few pieces of furniture from a store to our home. My main concern was the China cabinet since it had glass and I was concerned of the glass cracking during the move. The dispatcher kept me updated on their arrival time and when they arrived, they quickly began working and protected the furniture with blankets and shrink wrap and then loaded the pieces securely inside their truck. They unloaded and placed all the furniture in our home where we needed them to be placed. Everything was delivered in perfect condition and all three movers were very polite and accommodating. King Moving moved us just a couple of days ago. The team was totally professional and got the job done with efficiency and courtesy. We were moving only about a mile, from an apartment to a house, but the whole job took three hours start to finish. Nothing got so much as a scratch. I am writing this review strictly based on my conversation with a person that sets the appointments. I set up my move, however I have decided to cancel. Have you ever bought something or ordered something but due to the service you received you decide not to keep it? Well that's how I feel about King Movers. The gentleman that took my order was no less than condescending. He spoke their price of $129 per hour as if I couldn't afford it. He quoted the extra price for other items in the same manner. The movers were great and most of our furniture got to the destination with minimal scratches. Unfortunately, the company administrators were not very good at communicating our needs to the movers. The movers showed up with no boxes, packing material and only a few used blankets (to protect the furniture), saying that they were told that they were told all they needed to do was load the truck. Fortunately, we were able to scrape together enough packing material we had saved from our last move to make it work--but it was definitely a close call. I advise any future customers to make sure the movers have enough packing materials BEFORE they arrive (including blankets to protect your furniture). read more

Great moving company. Couldn't be happier. Not planning ahead, it was difficult to find movers for my planning moving date. Luckily King Moving was able to fit me in. I was given a window of time the movers would show up (4-8 i think) and they showed up right at 4. I got a good group of guys, Carlos, Martin, and Zhair. They got to work right away. I felt bad that it was about 100 degrees that day and I lived on the 3rd floor with no elevator, but they didn't let that phase them. I had a 1 bedroom apartment with a moderate amount of stuff and they got everything moved in about 40 minutes. It was much faster than when my friends and I moved before. They also took great care to make sure nothing was damaged. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended. read more

I am shook! These guys went above and beyond to help create what is normally a very stressful day into a very quick seamless move. I hired 2 crews (6 people and 2 trucks) to move from a single family home in Carrollton to a single family home in Prosper. It took them a total of 4 hours INCLUDING the 30 min drive! I've never had movers work so quickly and efficiently as them. They were kind, courteous, and hard working the entire time. They took apart all the necessary furniture and reassembled in the new home in that timeframe as well. They also moved our washer/dryer and refrigerator.
