The best movers in the game! As someone who is an avid 'review reader' - I never actually write reviews myself. BUT, I had to in this case! King Moving saved me! Another moving company in the Dallas area cancelled two days before my intended move for "miscommunication" - aka they double booked us. King Moving Company came to my rescue. We were lucky enough to book two moving crews with a total of 6 guys and 2 trucks to move my entire life out of my 3200 square foot home. They were AMAZING! The whole job took 7 hours from start to finish and that was with their help taking down our mounted televisions, installing/uninstalling appliances, and even taking a dining room table to another location for storage. I even had them rearrange our furniture a few times once we arrived at the new house. They never stopped working other than a quick lunch break and were very professional. I was amazed at how they wrapped and secured each item so nothing would break in transit. FIVE STARS!!!!! Also, I have to give a shout out to Mary Lou, the scheduler who was very patient, kind, and understanding when booking our move. We hired King to move us into a 4th floor apartment, and the elevators were not inspected, and not working. King was outstanding! This was our third move in the last 5 years, and we know what good movers are, and are not. King employees were courteous, they were careful, and they were very professional. I had moved furniture in the past and I knew the four flights of stairs was going to be difficult, but they handled it with no problem, with no damages, and with great attitudes! Very pleased with King Moving. They worked quickly and carefully. Their vehicle was loaded with appropriate packing and moving equipment. Three movers worked well like an experienced team. Considering that they charge hourly, we really appreciated their honest and timely work. Communications are somewhat lacking. We scheduled a date 2 weeks in advance and they did arrive on time. But, their was no confirmation of the move until we got a phone call 30 minutes prior. We did wonder what we would do if they did not show! A confirmation text or email message the night before would be preferred. read more

My elderly parents used these guys today. I cannot say enough about these guys. Even though they were late, they were very kind to keep calling them and giving them status updates. I was given a window arrival time , and the guys called that morning with a more precise arrival time. They were extremely careful with my belongings, and very professional! When they had a better time slot that became available, he contacted me again and set it up to my convenience. Then the three amazing guys- Otto, Kane and Mavs showed up at 8 am on the day of the move. They checked all items that need to be moved, assessed the work and gave us clear idea of what they are going to do. Each and every piece of furniture was handled with care, well wrapped with blankets and moved. We had some heavy items, in two stories and they managed it very well. We had so much stuff to move that they had to do two trips in their 32 ft trailer. Every piece of furniture assembled to perfection in the exact spot we wanted them. They worked without rest. This moving company is Outstanding! I hired them to load a 3-bedroom house into 5 U-haul boxes for a cross country move. They called when they were in route, arrived early, and came to work. They did an amazing job loading...although I had too much stuff these guys expertly loaded all the Uboxes, maximized every inch thus allowing me to take everything but a few appliances that I really did not need. I don't think anyone relishes the idea of moving, but I can honestly say that my experience with King Moving Company was impeccable from beginning to end. First of all, Cory, one of the partners in the company, was one of the few people that was actually willing to come to my home and take a look at what I had in order to give a fair and knowledgeable quote. Most of the companies just wanted to do it over the phone...at least the ones that would even call me back. The crew that arrived at my door promptly at 7am (#joescrew) was extremely professional and friendly the entire day. Joe, Bill and Edwin kept a smile on my face all day with their upbeat attitudes and sense of humor in 105 degree heat and a 13 hour day! They were AMAZING!! When I would ask friends to recommend moving companies, I would get the same disgusted look of frustration and names of companies not to use.
