I then attempted to schedule only the basic cleaning (the separate estimate), because the project manager had not indicated that I was not allowed to do so, and I continued to receive automated reminders via text and email. Then, Evan K. followed up with a passive-aggressive email, also complete with a smiley face emoji, continuing the interaction unnecessarily. After that, my number appears to have been blocked, and I was no longer able to reach anyone at the company. Regardless of pricing, this level of communication is extremely unprofessional. Rep called me back and explained why they are cautious about cleaning metal roofs. In short I've…read morebeen doing it wrong. He offered to make things right but his explanation was enough. I have a metal roof and gutters with gutter guards. They company that used to do an excellent job on my roof (I'll call them "JB") is a janitorial firm that appears to no longer do roofs. I called AA based on reviews and explained that my roof was quite dirty with pollen and was clear with them it was metal. They said they would come and blow the roof off and see what else could be done. They did NOT come right out and say they could not clean up pollen. They quoted me a price lower than the previous company had been charging, so I scheduled the work about three weeks out. The tech came out late in the afternoon, spent a LOT of time looking around and talking to the office and then told me that they could only blow debris off. To do a wash would take two people a full day and cost around $2,000. Sorry, that's NOT going to happen! I said go ahead and blow the roof off, there was plenty of Douglas fir cones and other debris that needed to come off anyway. The work was fine for what it was, though there's still a mess of pollen up there. I would have preferred that they just say "we don't clean metal roofs because you won't be happy with the results."

Also some cheaper roofing company wont have warranty or they will offer a shorter duration. Just make sure you check your attic during storms. We are all human and we can make mistakes. 4 months after installation, my roof is leaking. Its located in the same spot where it was fixed so a coincidence. A bad nail can do it and it was a light drip leak . I was only able to catch it because I placed 1 security camera on the ground outside for rodents and noticed a wall leak. I reached out on December 18 right before the holidays and got it fixed/patched up on Jan 15. I want to add Martin, the roofer, is an awesome worker. He came to the job engaged and with a positive attitude. Extremely knowledgable and went right to work. No messing around. He embodies what I envision North Creek Roofing company to be. Hard working roofer that just want to get it fix the right way. He seemed to really care about the issue and worked his tail off alone with no help. So a huge shout out to him if he ever reads this.
