I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel like I need to share what I witnessed at this King Soopers on Del Range. I stopped by to pick up a few groceries on my way home and went through a cashiers checkout line. While I was there, I saw an interaction between him and a manager named Amanda that really rubbed me the wrong way. He asked her for help, and instead of offering support, Amanda was very sarcastic and dismissive. It came across as unprofessional and unnecessarily rude in front of customers. I've also saw that she has singled him out for small things (like the way he bags groceries), which feels more like targeting than actual leadership. From what I can tell, he works hard, is respectful, and does a good job balancing work. It's frustrating to see someone who cares about their job not be supported by their own manager. I hope upper management takes note, because customer-facing managers set the tone for the store. The employees deserve leaders who build them up, not tear them down. read more

Self check out is a disaster. They have very few checker lanes open but a lot of self checkouts. The machines changed recently and are not as sensitive to scanning the items. I tried to scan multiple items over and over and they wouldn't take, but the machine thought I was trying to steal multiple times. An associate had to come over and reviewed the video of every single can I scanned and then counted my items (this happened multiple times). If you are worried about shrink open up a lane and don't treat your customers like they're stealing. read more

I went in at 5:50 PM to the deli and wanted to get their 12 piece meal deal. All they had to offer was mashed potatoes and gravy. I asked the clerk if they be making new mac & cheese or if they had more coleslaw in the back the response to me was nope, I asked if they would make fresh mac & cheese again nope, so I just got the chicken. The chicken was drying up. I asked for the store manager, Told him what happened, and all I got was all talk to. I feel at 5:50 PM on a Saturday night at the deli section should be full of fresh side, options and chicken. That doesn't look like it's been fried twice. I'll be more than happy to go to Albertson's and worse Walmart together probably like insane shame on you King Soopers. read more

The good: Great produce and meat selection. Baked goods are plentiful, and they have a bigger selection of old school Kool Aid than anywhere else in town. The bad: It feel claustrophobic due to the products being jam packed. Organization of the store is really wonky. It was difficult to find Kool Aid for me (it was in the WAY back along a wall). This used to be on the higher end of town, and looked a lot cleaner but lately...the surrounding neighborhoods are seedy these days. Not to long ago, a guy was randomly shooting at storefronts in the area. Before that, there have been a couple of murders in the neighborhood just east of King Soopers. I just don't feel safe going to that part of town anymore to be honest. All in all, if you need a quick thing that nobody else has it's a great place. But just be mindful to lock your vehicle, and keep your eyes peeled. read more

The floral department is amazing. I always find hte freshest flowers at this store and at decent prices. The ladies here are also always willing to help if I need something in a bouqet a litte different than what they have prepared. Best place to buy flowers read more

Great store, great employees. great customer service, BUT, some dingbat dropped the ball in the pharmacy and for some reason did not have my medication in stock. How does that happen? Maybe incompetence? How do you allow your pharmacy to run out of a common medication for any reason? I will definitely not use the pharmacy for any reason ever again. read more

Pretty decent market. Good produce selection. Staff needs a motivational speaker/seminar. Huge cart with produce being unloaded in front of section yesterday. Two employees were standing there, pretending to work, while gossiping about another employee. Customers had to wait for them to finish their conversation before asking them to move. I literally applied and called them five times talking to them about my application and they took down my name and number five times. they'd call back and I missed the call so i called back and they are literally too useless to ever find me the manager that called me. this happened 3 times. just went in there today and they got a sign up talking about them hiring even though they're too useless to even find the manager who was trying to hire me. also the workers there are mad rude too they aren't friendly unless it's the old people so shoutout to them cause the younger people working there are mad rude. and if i could give them zero stars i would. read more

Twice now I have returned home missing some groceries. The chaos at checkout is such that who knows where everything goes? Is there some place where the left-behind (stashed-away) groceries go? I just think it's sad that I have to guard my wallet, try to make sure the checker uses my coupons, AND keep checking to make sure the groceries I have paid for end up in my cart before I leave the door. Oh, and about 50% of the time I have to bag the groceries myself. Oh, and I'm sure that King Soopers would prefer that I go through and do all the checking myself. I used to be a huge, die hard Soopers fan. No store could compare on any level. Then the "pandemic" started, still prices weren't bad, about half way thru prices may have jumped 10 cents here and there. Then good ol chomo joe takes office. And we start getting raped. Willingly I might add. About 8 mos ago I asked a couple of your employees when the government was going to quit raising the prices. They informed me it was Kroger now. Price jumped from $2.79 to $3.fkn49!! Another employee said the other night you need more money.. it used to be a good thing to shop at your stores. Now it's stresses me out... This store used to be my favorite Cheyenne grocery, but recently it has gone down hill. Some busy days, there are no sackers at all. Other days there are too few. Certainly, it doesn't take a marketing genius to "guess" which are the busiest shopping days. I expect to stand in line when I come at a busy time, but I don't expect check out to take twice as long because there are no sackers. I feel sorry for the checkers, who are working hard and being pleasant, so I help by sacking my own groceries, which I feel I should receive a salary or BIG discount for, as I hate the self-service stations. Also, the organic produce section now seems halfhearted, the area where individual or two person desserts were available looks as if a hoard of hungry Huns came through and took 90% of the goods, i.e. it's been practically bare my last two visits, and the "rearrangement" of some of the sections, such as the dairy case cheese snacks is pitiful, as the snacks"" have become big chunks of some kind of cheese. I don't know if it is just new, very poor, management or corporate penny pinching, but I'm excited for better weather so I can easily bop down to Fort Collins and shop at Trader Joe's, Sprouts, and Whole Foods. WARNING!!! Ordered delivery. Never showed up. King Soopers takes 10 business days to refund the $300.+ they pulled from our account. 2 Weeks is quite some times for them to correct their error. Not to mention taking days to receive food order, yet to get replacement pick up order filled. read more

Overall, I'm a fan of King Soopers. Good experiences with produce, deli counter, fish counter, the food in general, service, etc. However, the pharmacy can be a bit hit and miss. Some of the staff are great - others seem to have forgotten about HIPAA, and find it okay to talk loudly about the medications I (and others) are taking. I've also had problems with calling in a refill, and arriving 2 hours later, to find out that they still haven't gotten around to filling it (mind you, the specific prescription I was having refilled is already packaged and just needs to be dispensed - no pill counting or formulating...) read more

I am writing specifically about the King Soopers Deli counter. It is the best in town in fact the only good one in town. Now is is not the equal of the ones you see in Chicago , or New York City but for a Wyoming Deli it is very good. The only Place in town you can get decent rare roast beef for sandwiches. The real treasure is they feature Chester's Chicken. not only is it much, much cheaper then KFC but it is better. You can get an 8 piece meal for $8.99, at KFC an 8 piece meal is nearly $20 dollars. Unlike Original Recipe KFC Chester's Chicken crispy crust is excellent cold. Cheerful service. The rest of the store is the place to go in Cheyenne for groceries. read more

It's hard to want to come here when there's fifty girl scouts outside the front door accosting you as you try to walk in for a few groceries. Then, as you walk out, there's always 2-5 employees standing RIGHT by the exit blowing cigarette smoke into your face. Hey, Soopers! Maybe give your employees a smoking area in the BACK?! The minute I walked in the door I was approached by the manager and asked to leave because I had my Emotional Support Animal with me. She's a 10lb dog that has been my ESA for 4 years. She was wearing her vest and I had paperwork but the manager told me that policies have changed and I needed to leave. I'm so upset and disappointed that I couldn't even shop for groceries without someone punishing me for needing support. I will NEVER return to this king soopers and I'm ashamed that this is how businesses are treating people with mental illness. read more

The last 4 or 5 times that I have been in the store, it was a shambles! Employees stocking shelves, inventory all over the isle, isles blocked by boxes, not a single, "can I move that for you or can I get something for you" by the employees, and rude conversations by the employees while I was shopping. Today an announcement came over the loud speaker about someone putting plastic into the card board bin and that the person who did it should come back and put it right. Wow, shouldn't that be handled a little more professionally during an employee meeting! How childish and unprofessional is that? Further more there aren't enough cart holders in the parking lot. I used to like this store when it first opened, now I think it is the last time I ever go there. What a shame costumer service has gotten to a new all time low. read more

My fiance's medication had started being denied by insurance and we were paying out of pocket hundreds for some months. We finally received an approval letter for them to pay n be reimbursed. When we went in today a pharmacy tech Wendy was so rude. She told my fiance he need all prior receipts which we were never told before. She also said n "click no u do not need to talk to the pharmacist when u pay". We did click on yes cuz we had that question n others. Wendy gave us our things n told him he didn't click to talk n said " I have no reason to lie I would have seen it on the back screen." (She lied though). To further Wendy's lack of customer service while walking back yelled" the pharmacist will tell u the same thing u need a receipt bottom line!!" I hate to change our pharmacy over a pharmacy tech but there was no need to not nicely explain n if we didn't understand her answer try to refuse him talking to someone higher up then her. read more

I ordered a graduation cake on April 25th, and it was to be picked up on May 25th between 6 and 6:20 pm. We went to pick up the cake, and no one could find the cake or any cake order. Interesting, because we have the receipt of what we ordered. We went to Albertson's hoping to find a last minute cake, and we did. A lady named Cindy at Albertsons did a last minute order for us, and the cake is absolutely beautiful! We won't EVER go to King Soopers again! Poor customer service! read more

Very well priced food and items. Also has a great fresh sushi area. Employees have been very friendly every time I have gone there so far. The easy to load online coupons from their phone app or online are very helpful and save a lot of money without becoming an extreme couponer. read more

It was a much better store in the past. Nowadays, several departments are stocked hit and miss, particularly produce and dairy (organic half and half?). No matter when I go in, there seem to be stockers so I don't understand the problem. No longer open 24 hours. Pharmacy is great. read more

The big problem with the King's Soopers on Dell Range is the lack of baggers. Many older people shop there and like me, they have a difficult time bagging their groceries. I am in physical therapy and cannot bag my purchases. I hate for the checkers to do it because it slows the whole process down. I was told the baggers all end up becoming checkers quickly. I am about ready to find another store. Others I have talked to feel the same way. read more

The best fresh food selection in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I notice a large amount of the fruits and veggies come from Colorado. With the short distance traveled, the food is always fresh and BURSTING with delicious nutrients. The 24 hour shopping is very convenient. read more

I'm a huge fan of this store! I buy all of my groceries here and my husband doesn't even mind coming with me- a huge change from when I used to shop at WalMart. The produce is the greatest, my family eats a lot of produce. The meats are average but better than Walmart. The deli is good but always takes forever to get waited on and sometimes the deli workers are rude. Grocery prices are actually about as cheap as Walmart so why should I go to the hassle of going to Walmart? There are a couple very good looking employees who work here too, so I get eye candy when I go grocery shopping and they even seem down to earth. Would do a 5 star if it wasn't for deli service and how I constantly have to nag the bag boys to sack correctly. That's my 2 cents. read more

Wonderful pharmacists and staff. Our insurance wants us to switch to mail order for medicine we're regularly on, but we'd rather pay their reasonable prices out of pocket and get their great service than switch to a service in which we have no personal contact. read more
