I bought tickets for my family. Upon return there was an issue of minor/child. PIA in Pakistan cancelled one of the ticket and asked us to buy new ticket for a child. According to them we will get refunded by contacting the agency. I didn't get refunded so far. Agency is telling me stories every time I contact them. Muslimano, beware. This company is staffed with unprofessional, disorganized, rude men. ZERO customer service skills. I didn't get past the phone. I tried four times. FOUR! I was put on hold each time for at least a minute each time, I timed it, and finally gave up. Worst, Unprofessional, Last Minute Changes ! Though they claim to be #1 Umrah Agent in Canada, Very unprofessional may cancel your ticket/booking in lieu of more money/ business from others. Here is my experience. e-transferred the advance payment months in advance. Deposited the Passport (for Umrah VISA) and made full payment about 2 months before the travel dates. After that I kept following up and they kept saying No need to worry, you will be informed about everything, we will have a seminar and you will be given your passport with VISA and other details. Finally just two weeks before the travel dates , that too after my repeated follow ups they informed me that my booking has not been done. I was not booked in the advertised direct flights. They said, they will try to arrange for some alternatives. They never gave the itinerary of alternative arrangements and after repeated questions informed that the alternative arrangements would be through some other airline with stopovers of more than a day. Very irresponsible , very bad customer service and don't care attitude. After lot of drama, luckily I got back the money. While returning my money back to me they asked me to sign a document stating that I do not have any issues with them or that we will not pursue any legal action against them. Which I of course declined to sign. After this we made a few phone calls to other Travel Agencies in GTA. After listening to the above most of them asked us, is this King Travel ? Almost all of them said they receive similar calls from other customers repeatedly about King Travel and wonder why people fall prey to their glittering advertisements! They also mentioned that the owner Mushtaq is a businessman and does all these kind of things for more business / money. We cannot apply for Umrah VISA directly, have to go through an Agent. Abandoned a 10-year-old girl in Saudi Arabia Terrible and unorganized Umrah! My family and I went to Umrah through them and they tried to fit 5 family members in ONE QUAD room to save money on their end. Never gave us a discount or anything! The Hafiz that helped us perform the Umrah, Hafiz Abdul Qayyam Fareedy, was professional and kind however King Travel had the whole trip very unorganized. When returning, 4 members of my family were booked to return from Jeddah to Turkey and then Toronto. However, the organizers from King travel booked my 10-YEAR-OLD sister from Karachi to Turkey. WE NEVER WENT TO KARACHI! We spent 3,986 Saudi Riyal ($1,323.25 CAD) on a new ticket and NOW King Travel is refusing to reimburse us. Worst experience our family has ever had, do not go with them to Umrah. Go with ISNA! The group were so organized in Saudi. read more

Dec 25th, 2018 Umera group from Toronto. Extreamly disorganized. The representative and group leader reached airport at last minute and the group was not sure what to expect and do or find their group people at airport. We had to wait 3 hours at Jeddah airport as they coukd not arrange coach to Mecca on time. On way back from Medina to airport, the group leader vanished from bus to track his luggage chasing another bus, without informing and keeping us wait in bus parked in middle of highway! Whoever complaint on whatsapp group got removed from the group! They have no business ethics and caused as much inconvenience to people in Ahram as they could. Thoes who paid extra for Kabah view rooms were asked to checkin in other room until they pushed back . The time of stay in Cairo airport (connecting flight) was hardly an hour and we had to wear Ahraam in dirty plane washrooms. Very bad experience of whole group. read more

The initial planning was okay. Asif was very helpful. The choice of hotels were mine and they proved to be a great choice. Darul Taqwa in Madinah and Swissotel in Makkah. The travel arrangements within the Kingdom and the transportation arrangements have been handed over to Hussain Lashari, who is basically a van driver and has no experience of managing tourists. Moreover, he is a compulsive liar. Everytime he talked to me regarding arrangements he lied as a result my entire trip was ruined. I could not do Ziaraat in Madinah nor in Makkah. I had to take a taxi to the Airport to be able to catch a flight. Please be careful when dealing with King Travel. They can do a reasonable job here but when you do a package with them. They are not the professional and travel arrangers that they claim. Please people be aware. read more

BEWARE!!! THESE PEOPLE SELL ONE THING AND PROVIDE SOMETHING ELSE! I had the following problems: 1. Last minute changes made to the bookings I received an email few hours before the flight that my hotel booking was changed from the Hilton hotel to Al Shohada hotel. This change was never consulted with me and I never approved it. Also, the agent was not available after sending the email. I felt deceived. 2. Condition of hotel: The hotel rooms in Al Shohada hotel were very congested and washrooms were not up to the standards. We were told that the hotel was 5 star. Also, the shower door did not close properly and toilet seat had scratches/stains on it. 3. Location of hotel: We clearly mentioned in the phone conversation that we have an infant with us and we need a hotel near Masjid ul Haram. The given hotel was approximately 10 -15 mins walk from masjid ul Haram. This caused great inconvenience for us. We ended up having to pay locker fees at the masjid to store the infant stroller. 4. False booking hotel confirmation/ Visa problems in UK I received a booking confirmation for visa of my family in UK, but it was not accepted by the Saudi consulate in UK and this created problems in their visa processing . 5. Ahram kit We have never received any ahram kit (which was included in the package) even after reminding the agent several times. I also sent Fedex quotes to send the ahram kits. 6. Felt bound and pressured / Poor customer service After paying and sending my passports to the agency for visa processing, I felt that their service deteriorated. This shows that once they have received the money, they don't bother much with customer service.They didn't update me with any information and I felt bound to get service with this company as my passports were already with them and I had no other option. I've also contacted the owner & manager by phone and emails multiple times after my bad experience. But Mr. Mushtaq & Mr. Jamil never replied to my emails. They did not even bother to call and apologize for their poor service. read more

Very pleased with King Travel and great value for your money! I took a chance as no one I spoke to in Ottawa had heard about them. The arrangements were as agreed upon at all times and the the original itinerary included some extras that were not listed!! Imam was very helpful and available - even helped us negotiate the best dates and price in Medina and Makkah. The hotels were perfect based on location and service. All in all King Travel did not disappoint and will definitely recommend to friends and family. read more

I traveled in a group that they created. We did not get the tickets until last minute and also they advertised that we would be going to Dubai in Air Emirates and then they changed the plan at least minute and said all the ladies will go through Air Egypt through Cairo. They also failed to change their brochure to reflect this or even put a reservation that they can do this. We did not have any proper group activities. We were promised a lot of things and they hand out a full itinary of the days but they do not even allow people time to go and see the places and do things there according to the schedule. They did not provide any badges or anything for us incase we got lost. They provided only one meal with the hotel. They did not help people that need wheel chair assitance. They did not take any care for the people in the group. The group leader also was useless. He did not have proper information on traveling also. I called them to complain also and they basically said that its my fault I should not expect any service from them and I went for prayer and I should concentrate on that only. If they are experts in traveling.....they could not even give me a straight answer on weather or not I need a visa to Dubai. Also the information that they advertise that you will get a day tour in Dubai. You arrive at 12 midnight and have to leave the next day at 9:55am what kind of tour would you get in that timeframe???? They also fail to mention that the visa and the tours that they are so called providing are NOT provided by them they are provided by Air Emirates. Lastly they advertise a rate in the newspapers and say they give better service then the rest. I would say the service was ok until they get your money and then there is no service....... THe rate that they give also was given in the newspaper was not proper. The say one rate but charge another rate to people. Some people were charged more and some less. It would have been nice for them to be upfront and honest about the details and explain things better. I pray insha Allah that Allah helps them to better muslims and treat their brothers and sisters in Islam better and think before they deal with people. read more
