I'm requesting a refund from services that we're questionable for my dog Brodie (Beagle Mix). He passed last night, we had to put him down. Your vets didn't do any standard protocol and check my dog at all for anything or requested blood work to be done. Never offered the services and we were rushed out cause it was more important to close on time. Diagnosis was some medication, based off of little information, and also that he had arthritis. Well it wasn't any of that and he got worse. We rushed to another vet (Kingdom) that stated that he had lyme disease and Cushing disease and we bought the medications and everything after blood work. He got worse since the visit and we rushed him to the animal hospital where they told me that they ran both tests for Lyme and she suggested that it was something more serious and ruled it out. You guessed and my last few days with my dog was painful. He died, in pain, suffering for MONTHS. We paid for services that didn't even treat anything. You just collected the check and we went on expecting everything was okay and it wasn't. It was way worse. I will report this to the VA Vet Board for malpractice and negligence. I expect a refund if not I will pursue legal action on this business. Do better. You failed to do your job and now he suffered and we paid money for some bullshit. You guys deserve to close. My wife and I have been patronizing Kingdom Animal Hospital back as far as when Dr. Fish owned the practice so that's now been over 30 years. Then they did farm calls and continued to do so up until just a short time ago when I guess it just got too much to handle. We were always happy with the timely response to our calls for help and with the treatment and consultations we received over the years. Since Dr. Fairman purchased the practice we have been extremely pleased with the treatment given to our dogs. We specifically always have Dr. Casey Green treat our dogs (Rottweilers) because he seems to have more of an ability to understand larger breeds and interacts with them better, (in our personal opinion). We are disturbed to read the negative reviews on some of the female veterinarians with Dr. Fairman's practice. Of course we have no insight as to what happened other than what is written here and on Yelp but I suspect if these owners had spoken directly to either Dr. Fairman or Dr. Green about what is claimed to have occurred that they would have intervened and done all they could to rectify the complaints. We have always found all the staff who assists the veterinarians to be very courtesy to us and very gentle and understanding with our dogs. We have found both Dr. Green and one of the vet assistants "Brooke" to be very empathic and both have always been straight shooters with respect to the issues we have faced over the years. I also have personal knowledge that Dr. Green spent the night at the clinic to personally watch our young dog one night when we had an emergency with him earlier in the day. I can't thank Dr. Green and Brooke enough for coming to our home when it was time to euthanize one of our dogs. This was on 11/21/2018 which I suspect has been the worst day of our lives. They couldn't have been more professional, kind, gentle, and empathic. I will also complement Darren Jones here who owns Jones Funeral Home who came to our home with a gurney and hearse to take our dog to the funeral home. We sincerely recommend Dr. Casey Green and Brooke at this practice. We also recommend Dr. Fairman who we have also had vet our animals over the years. I can't speak or give any recommendations on any of the other doctors there. They have a large staff and we know that they do everything they can to properly take care of the animals in their care. We have been in business ourselves and know that it just takes one employee who is rude or makes a mistake to affect the whole reputation of a business. Don't let the couple of negative reviews here dissuade you from going to Kingdom for your pets veterinarian care because I can assure you they are reputable and are caring people. read more

If you need to go here and the vet suggests tests for your animal inquire about the costs, or you will be handed a $600 invoice on the way out. Also they will run tests that you never authorized and insist on charging for it as they won't show you the bill until they run your credit card. Then if you question any line items on the bill the staff won't answer your question and they act very unprofessional. read more

By far the best veterinary practice in this area (I've been to a few). I've brought our Pug Gizmo here. He has an IBD diagnosis and is doing well under their care. He turned 11 recently. We see Dr. Green when we go. I recently brought a foster cat to see them. He had issues with his ears when I got him. Dr. Green flushed his ears, looked at debris from his ears under a microscope. He knew it was yeast, his ears look great now. read more

My dog Justine had cancer. It was removed by Zeeland vet and i went to Kingdom and they were suppose to keep an eye on her cancer areas. They did not and she got a large cancer bump. Kingdom gave her meds said the swelling had to go down before they could do anything. Justine died. They called after my baby died to remind me of an upcoming appt. When i reminded her that Justine died she said oh just kidding... They are sick ppl. Count on waiting for atleast an hour before your appt. read more

Very poor customer service--Vets are "too busy" for their patients. No contact with actual veterinarian for surgical procedure and follow-up (never actually got to meet or consult with Dr. Green who performed the spay surgery). Unable or unwilling to make time to follow-up/see dog patient when complications of surgery occurred: Surgery was on Wednesday, complications occurred Friday night, doctor's office was unable or unwilling to accommodate patient during its 9-2 business hours on Saturday--offered to see her on Monday instead. By Monday, given the circumstances there could very well have been no dog alive to see the Vet had there not been an Emergency Vet in town (separate office and separate $250 bill). On a separate issue, this office will quickly provide a recommendation, estimate and appointment for costly procedures with no explanation as how it might help or expected outcome. They will do this without having first listened carefully regarding the circumstances and symptoms to determine the necessity of the procedure. They will leave you sitting in the waiting room with an estimate in hand and the only question they'll ask you is, "When do you want to make the appointment?" Poor. Poor. Poor service. I have lost trust in this office and will not return. read more

This hospital is well staffed and clear in their communication and care. They are all committed and caring, from the receptionist to the techs to the vet. I have been very happy with my dog's care. The one tricky thing is their voicemail system (can't easily get a live person) but after a few times of using it you will figure it all out. Definitely do not like their new system for making appointments. If you want to make an appointment, you HAVE to leave a message and they will call back-maybe. First time I tried, no callback. Second time I tried they did call back. However, people work. They cannot always answer the phone. So they have called 3 times today. I was with a customer all 3 times and could not answer the phone. Each time I have to call back and leave a message to call me. This is. NO way to run a business. As far as care goes, we really have liked Kingdom and have recommended them to a lot of people. I give them 5 stars on care. But I just can't play phone tag all day, so I will be looking for another vet. read more

So far so good. I have had three dogs spayed, a dog that had kidney failure and put to sleep here. All the dogs did well with their spay. My poor Bella was old and her body gave up on her. They were so nice and even made a donation to clinical research in her name. I had to have a kitty put to sleep as well. She had Leukemia and just kept getting worse... read more

I don't know what else to say, but this establishment literally killed my 3 year old cat who had nothing but life ahead of him. My cat became lethargic and was vomiting large amounts. I scheduled an appointment immediately and took him in. I forget the vets name who saw him, she was an older lady with gray hair, I probably can't remeber because the entire thing was so traumatic I've probably blocked it. My cat was brutalized as a young cat and zip toed, shot with a BB gun, you get the picture.. so he was very finicky about being held down and pain... this vet literally SCREAMED at my cat when she went to take some blood because he scratched her. SCREAMED at him. I literally warned her in great detail the abuse he endured and offered to hold him because he was comfortable with me and trusted me if I held him. She laughed it off, and when he scratched her (it wasn't even that serious of a scratch) she screamed at my cat! She then tells me she did an X-ray and everything was fine. I took him back a week later because he was remorse and she told me not to bother coming in because she said he's fine... a week later my car doesn't want to even move. I basically insisted they keep him for a couple hours (like board him), I said I would pay, and I wanted them to just LOOK at him not moving around. I also requested an IV of fluids because he stopped drinking. I came back a few hours later & they DIDN'T give him an IV . I had to sit there and make them do it. He was better after this for a day or so... then I woke up and he wasn't moving, lying in his vomit. I rushed to the Emergency Vet in Winchester and the vets there immediately did an X-ray & said his bladder was the size of a softball & he was in cardiac arrest. The vets there stated they have NEVER seen a 3 year old cat in cardiac arrest like this before. The vets asked if he had an X-ray & I said yes. They informed me there was NO WAY an X-ray was done or they would have seen his bladder enlarged and they would have been able to treat him. Due to the NEGLECT from Kingdom Animal Hospital, my cat died. I trusted these people and trusted my cat was being cared for... I literally hate this place and pray that karma finds the vet who killed my baby. This woman is AWFUL. Please never take your pet here. The emergency vet was literally appalled... I'm appalled. And devastated. If I had money to file a malpractice suit I would. read more

Their groomers really don't know what they're doing. I took my dog in for a trim with an established cut and look from his prior groomer and explained to the Kingdom Animal Hospital groomer that he needed a trim all over and went over the particulars like his head, feet, snout, etc. All the groomer here knew was how to operate a trimmer! My dog came back with his cut ruined, his body too short, his tail looking like a pipe cleaner, his snout went from a schnauzer-esque goatee to a Lorax mustache, and his head is now a flat-top! The man didn't know what he was doing and instead of just saying that he couldn't help me, he went ahead and ruined my dog. I'm extremely disappointed. I've had three dogs over 10 years try out this groomer at least once in their lives and every time it has proven to be a huge mistake! Stay away unless you want your dog to look like you cut their hair with a man's beard trimmer at home! read more

I've been dealing with this vet for several years now and they have always been mediocre at best. The staff are not friendly, the veterinarians are rude, and the general atmosphere is as if they are doing you a favor for taking all of your money. They charge for overnight stays when you didn't have any and strange "extended visits" when you were barely there at all. The final straw for me was the fact that I took my cat in, who is diabetic, because he caught a nasty cold from my other cat. No matter how many times I told them this they kept trying to diagnose a problem with his diabetes when there was none. Then when they called a few days later to learn he STILL had his same cold symptoms they wanted to keep him overnight and when I said no they suggested I euthanize him... for a HEADCOLD.
