Discount Garage Door was the best choice apparently. Called them and was impressed with the receptionist/dispatcher. She told me that a tech would be available 24 hours later. When does that ever happen? Jay shows up on time with a smile. (When does that ever happen?) He took one look at my busted spring and said,"Yep, broken spring." He then explained that the builder had used the wrong spring for our door, which is common because they like to save money wherever they can. Jay then quoted a price below what I expected and that the job would be done correctly in 40 minutes. It actually took him 38 minutes. Bottom line, better service at a fair price done correctly and promptly.

A third guy shows up with an invoice and its at twice the price I was quoted, asked him about it, he supposedly gave Donnie a call, why he did not let me speak to Donnie I do not know, maybe this is how they run their scam.
