We were on a Wild Atlantic Way tour and were able to break free and book a private "Hawk Walk" at Kingdom Falconry. My son loves wild animals, and especially birds of prey. This was a surprise for him, but we all ended up loving it. The birds are all magnificent. The walk was relaxed and we had a lot of time with the Harris Hawk named Clive flying back and forth between our gloves, posing for pictures with each of us, and snatching scraps of food in midair. The aviary was a unexpected extra. There were many species of owls, hawks, falcons and an eagle. Our guide Niamh was fantastic. She knew how to help us have the best experience, and capture great photos and slow motion videos. She was really knowledgeable and you could really tell how much she loved these birds. The location, around the harbor from the main town, was beautiful and definately worh the visit. Highly recommended. read more
