Let me preface this by saying that this could of very easily gone sideways, but they went out of their way to make it right. I recently purchased a bottle of high end bourbon that I discovered to have an issue with the seal AFTER I left the establishment. Although I was 99.9% sure that I didn't cause the issue, I could of understood if the establishment wanted to question my issue. That never happened here. I spoke to "G" on the phone and told him the problem. I wasn't able to make it back in the store until two days later and they didn't give me any issues at all. Exchanged my bottle without hassle and even talked to me about other spirits that I may interested in. It was my first time to visit this location and won't be the last. Definitely gained a life long customer because of the way that they handled my concern.

If you know what you are looking for, the store is laid out well and you can find it amongst the massive selection they have here. And when I say massive, I mean massive! They had varieties of beers, wine, and other alcohol that I had no idea even existed. If you don't know what you are looking for, or need help finding it, they have a pretty large staff and everyone is really helpful! As I wandered the aisles is awe, I was asked if I needed any assistance at least 5 or 6 times. They also have a cool walk in humidor for a pretty amazing cigar selection as well. Cashiers all talking to each other never looking in your eye or acknowledging me. No one seemed to care if you are shopping in the store. I know everyone has an off day but when you are suppose to be customer facing a little customer service would be nice. With another large liquor chain next door, I would do the block for better service.

Came by Goody Goody Liquor for their re-opening event, and it was definitely a unique experience…read more They hosted a "drink around the world"-style event, which made it fun to walk through the store and sample different options. It felt interactive and gave a nice opportunity to try things you might not normally pick up. One thing that stood out right away is the new setup. All of the liquor is now locked up, so if you're interested in purchasing something, you'll need to request it from the front counter. That's a pretty big shift from the usual browsing experience and took a little getting used to. The store also now has visible security, which seems to go hand-in-hand with the new concept. It definitely changes the overall feel--more controlled and structured compared to a typical liquor store run. Overall, it was interesting to check out the re-opening and see the changes firsthand. The event itself was enjoyable, but the new layout and purchasing process may not be for everyone depending on how you like to shop.

I placed a pick up order, received an email saying it was ready and that curbside was available. I arrive and see there are spaces up front but none are labeled curbside nor do they have a number. Therefore, I walk in to pick up my order; heading straight to the pick up counter. There were several people standing there and no one acknowledged me; even after I said excuse me several times. After a good 10 mins a woman finally responded and said "he would need to help you". Okay but who's he I asked? Then she directed me to another guy who literally said "I'll be with you in a minute" all the while keeping his head down before he finally lifted his head barely to look at my phone screen. Then he handed me the bag. No thank you. Have a nice day..have a bad day. Nothing. We're all tired and there's a lot going on the world. However, poor customer service when you work in a customer facing job is inexcusable. Especially when you're only asking for the bare minimum as a respectful, paying customer.
