Walked in with two friends, we all had IDs and MONEY. We were profiled and harrassed the moment we walked in, we didn't give them our money, will never come here again. If your a young minority and happen to have some tattoos, I dont suggest this place. read more

This was probably the WORST experience I've ever had YEARS I walked in with my wife because we buy from here casually and when I walked in I see a worker stocking and I say excuse me can you show me where I can find cherries and bitters? Without even looking at me she just pointed where the stuff was at and walked off and she didn't even let me finish asking anything so I just brushed it off then after a few items maybe about 100 dollars worth with an angry tone she asks where MY ID AND MY WIFES id keep in mind she didn't even ask all the people that looked younger than us for their ID AND I signed up so we have memberships here at this location and just when I took my ID out she said she needed to still see hers now she forgot her ID in the car which is fine but just when we were going she didn't ask for my number to look up memberships have an angry tone and just pretty much embarrassed us speaking out loud like that I'm never going back to this location atleast or even want to see her i just hope that other goody goody members don't have the same experience I had and I just hope there's more training or better hiring because that was the worst and I literally went across the street to a mop and pop liquor store and they treated me so kind and sweet so definitely shopping there from now on so just letting yall know! Customer service was rude. I wanted to purchase some alcohol but they told me no because my under age cousins were with me. I carried the bottles, no one touched the bottles but me, and they said no because they don't have proof of age and kept saying it with an attitude. Why do they need proof of age if they're not purchasing, I'm purchasing the liquor. If a 10 year old walks in with their mom, are they going to ID the the 10 year old too? Doesn't make sense. Every time I visit this liquor store they are out of stock of whatever the item is I am searching for. The item I most frequently shop for is whiskey & scotch. When I ask the staff if they have the item they consistently blame it on the distributor, however when I visit other local liquor stores the item is in stock & no issues with distribution. I'm actually impressed with this place...its very well stocked. And the personnel is very helpful...but, most of them lacked knowledge of what they sell. Other than that, the store is on point. If you decide to come here, make sure you have patience since the personnel doesn't know much on what they currently sell. But, they're willing to help you find what ever you need. read more

I am a fan of this Goody Goody location!! Nice, convenient location and very well stocked being that it is smaller than other Goody Goody locations. Everyone here has always been very friendly to me from the ladies at the registers to the employees on the floor. Anytime I have had a question, there is never a problem getting it answered or finding the help I need. The past few visits there have been tastings at the front of the store. Always a nice treat when you walk in the door!! Also, gives me ideas on new items!! I am a bourbon drinker, and there is a very nice bourbon selection here, with some rare finds every so often. I had a nice conversation with the manager of this store when I was on the hunt for a rare bourbon. This store is very clean and well kept with a nice selection, check it out. Good location to serve Lakewood and Forest Hills customers. Is next door to the 7-11 by the White Rock spillway. EZ parking is close to the front door. Very pretty store. Has some high-end wines, plus all the usual suspects. Lots of craft beers. The posted prices are noticeably higher than at Total Wine. We placed an online over for in-store pickup at 940 am for 12pm pickup , upon entering the store I showed my receipt to Kent , he then went to speak with the Asst store manager Josh . Josh came out and said that he wasn't sure how I was able to place the bottle for 7 bottles of Hennessy (1.75L), he said that item hasn't been in stock for over two months. Keep in mind , their online inventory showed 13 bottles in stock . Josh refused to fulfill my order even though I had my receipt , ID, and debit card present and he cancelled my online order . Josh completely lied and profiled me. Josh told us to drive all the way to the Goody Goody in little elm ( which is about an hour away ). Thankfully , the store manager of the Little elm location (Tony) called me inquiring why I would be driving so far to his location , when this location has the bottles in stock per his records . I advised him what Josh stated. After calling This store to follow up . Tony called back and stated that Josh stated that I did not have my Credit card present . Which is a complete lie . I explained to Tony, that Josh assumed because of my race that it would be impossible for me to make such a large transaction without it being fraud . I subsequently spoke to the store manager Oscar, at this location , he apologized profusely. He said the items were in fact in stock and that my order had been ready . I had to once again repurchase the liquors that Josh had canceled . Please be aware , he will lie and profile you , ask to speak with another manager. read more

This store has decided since they have our corner neighborhood sewed up they don't have to worry about good customer service. I had a delivery from them - they sent the wrong thing and it went downhill from there. I found there are NO managers overseeing things here -and therefore no recourse. They wouldn't take care of making things right (even after they said they were coming - four hours and 3 phone calls later they told me they wanted to service other new pay orders instead). I find them frustrating to deal with and honestly their selection is nowhere near SPECS and their prices are higher than TOTAL WINES. We also couldn't find some specialty things that we found across the street at the older liquor store. read more

Amazing liquor store! I've lived in the area for couple years and finally a place with kind respectable staff and a wonderful selection of both craft beer and liquor. The price is very comparable with surrounding liquor stores but having helpful staff is worth the stop. I recently received an amazing hard to find bottle which wouldn't have been possible without such helpful employees. Every time I stop by I'm greeted and attended to without question. Avoid--they have no face mask policy. I was in there the other day and over half the customers weren't wearing masks. I asked the guy working the register if they had a mask policy and he said no, customers don't have to wear masks. Because of this, I will be going somewhere else. I'm not taking the chance that all the customers walking around are going to either get me sick or get the workers there sick, who will in turn spread it to other customers. Very irresponsible policy, especially in a high traffic area. Take some social responsibility. read more
