That service was beautiful and genuinely moving, and it made me feel hopeful that I had found a place I could continue coming back to. Over the following weeks, I've had a very positive experience with the youth pastor, Cyrus. He has been thoughtful, compassionate, and engaging, funny and he reflects the kind of leadership and tone I was hoping to find in a church community. Unfortunately, my experience with the lead pastor, Phil, has been very different. His preaching style comes across as condescending and more academic than pastoral. Services often feel like a lecture focused on technical definitions and word analysis rather than spiritual guidance, reflection, or connection. I came to church to deepen my faith and sense of community, not to sit through what feels like an English or college Bible class. In addition, sermons frequently drift into political territory, with firm lines drawn on complex and deeply personal issues. That approach feels out of touch with the role I would expect a pastor to play and ultimately made it difficult for me to continue attending. Because of this, I've decided to continue my search for a church home elsewhere. That said, I would absolutely consider attending again if Cyrus were preaching, as his approach aligns much more closely with what I'm looking for in a church.

There's a big parking lot so you don't have to worry about finding a place to park during Mass or whatever event is being held by the parish. The people are so welcoming. They invite you into their lives and into their hearts. They are connected to the community. They help out the schools in the dioceses. When there are events, they can afford to hire security. There's a park nearby too! Honestly, if you're a Catholic or just someone looking for a place to find God, then this is the place for you.

And every Sunday there has been one or more young families with very young children make too much noise. Literally overpowering the rest of the congregation's meditation and mass concentration including the priest homily. Where I grew up going to my old neighborhood church. The young families that would attend ,when one of their children was uncontrollably loud one of the parents would excuse themselves with their loud child and go outside and try to quiet their love one. Thus showing consideration and respect for the rest of the congregation. This is a weekly problem at Immaculate Heart of Mary. And we have been attending this mass for over two years now.

I struggle with addiction something that female leader of the church identified with and her testimony as what it seem to be. She recently quit smoking marijuana at first take. I felt that she shouldn't exactly be leading if she's still battling over my wife, reminding me that her husband was the leader to be exact and while she has her battles, she profess of conquering them, and so that I had no objection. We paid ties that day. Enjoy the rest of the Service while she excused herself to preach at a neighboring church down the road. I took note of that because I wanted to speak to her about my battling, maybe receiving some type of prayer and also tips advice that moment did not happen that day so over the course of two weeks I would occasionally drive by the church I would not see anyone however today on a Saturday I had time to come by and I know that they feed the homeless every so often so when I drove to the church this morning, I seen two cars driving inside the parking lot. I pulled up behind the second one which they blocked the entrance. A lady in the passenger backseat comes out and she asked me what did I want? I responded. I'm looking for the Pastor or the lady of the church. Maybe they ask for what I said, I was just looking for some help some information maybe she said no we're not doing that today. We're not giving no service today. I look puzzled and I said no, I'm not looking for service. I'm just looking for some information. She looked at me again with a stern look as if I was trespassing and Told Me. No one is there at the church if I want Service I can come back tomorrow. My response was offensive. I told her I pay times at the church. I'm not a stranger you could've at least gave me a contact information or something then she responded once more with. I'm sorry, but nobody's even here. I don't know how that had anything to do with what I was asking for. I didn't need them to be there if they had a number I can just call. I don't know what to make of the situation but I will not be going back. They got my few dollars I hope they blessed it to the Lord and not their pockets.

A small church just almost 3 miles away from where we live. Even when we were a few minutes late for mass, there was plenty of parking and seats available. A small community/neighborhood Catholic Church where everyone seem very cheerful and a great feeling to praise God. We made a choice this is the place we will be attending for mass.

It has a small congregation but they really do have a huge heart and love for God. Love this place and I am excited to see what God has in store for it. It is like a home away from home, and I love going there to reconnect with God and recharge from a long week.
