My daughter and her friends had a lovely time bowling at Kings County Bowl. The entire place looks like it is still up kept really nicely. The people who work there are polite and helpful. Great place to play that is affordable. Just watch for nights when there is league bowling because you will wait a long time for a lane.

We are avid bowlers and when a friend recommended this place we had to check it out. Their prices are far the best for around which I really appreciate since we are not able to join leagues to get a discounted price anywhere else. Their lanes messed up a couple times on us but they were on top of it. So far the couple times we went the service was good. read more

I went there yesterday to rent o e of they're rooms. Before I left I decided to grab something to eat to take home. I ordered a Philly Cheese. Steak, Sandwich. It was delishes, I could only eat half of it. Then the other half the next day. It was just as good as the day before. The bread was just as soft as the first half was. You can't beat them. Went in to bowl with the family and the place was clean and not too crowded. The prices for bowling were $5.00 a person per game. The snack bar area we ordered burgers,chicken strips,onion rings and a loaded French fries were very good and plenty of food. We are definitely coming back to bowl and have the food. read more

My development mentally disabled son went for an event with his day program but he wasn't allowed to bowl. He loves to bowl. That's like taking a kid to a candy store and not letting them have any candy. My son got upset. His language is very limited and he can't express his frustration so he screams and yells. He screamed and apparently scared a group of kids that were there. The owner kicked my son out and he was sent home for the day. This is discrimination and was completely uncalled for. As a part time bowler, and former league member I was excited to find this place. Decided to take a trip and find out what it looked like, etc... Upon pulling into the parking lot, I was a bit confused on where the entrance was. So I headed up what would be logically the front door, only to find it was locked. Ran around the side and found two big double doors with handicap stickers affixed but not a clear indication of being the entrance. Either way, inside now. This is a 24 lane bowling alley. At the time, half the lanes appeared to be under repair. There were a handful a guys bowling at the other end. There is a small snack bar with a grill top and counter style seating. However, the snack bar only accepts cash right now. I don't know if they plan on changing that later. It also appears they have a full bar, though it doesn't open until after 6 P.M. Which is probably good, although the counter gal did open the bar so I could enjoy a bottle of beer. Being imported, the bottle was 3.75, since I am not a beer drinker normally I don't know if this is expensive or not. The renovation appears to be focused more on kids and kid's parties. The color palettes they chose boggles the mind. I'm sure if they do a moonlight and galaxy bowl period it would be great. The lockers and restrooms are located in the back of the alley, I found it a bit off being that you cannot see either from the lanes. So for parents, it would be best to supervise a restroom trip. The game pricing is reasonable. 2.75/game with 1.50/shoes. There are specials for pre-noon bowling in Sundays. On my next visit, I will bring the balls and check out the lanes. not bad for a small town bowling alley. I went on two occasions. On the first night, we were put on lanes #9 and #10. I was surprised on how well the lane conditions were. Oiled to perfection. As an avid bowler, I was very impressed. In anticipation for another good game, I went the next night. They gave us lane #1 until 6:30 before league takes over. HORRIBLE. Lane#1's floors of the sitting area was extremely dirty and sticky. Therefore, the approach area was icky. My bowling shoes got very dirty and affected my slide throughout the game. I basically didn't have a slide since it was so icky.I should have asked them to spray and mop. I asked them for a cloth to wipe it down, but it looks like old icky that should have been cleaned last night. They probably leave lane#1&2 for casual bowlers and the rest of them are reserved for league bowlers. Can't really complain much since its a small town bowling alley. At least I had a good first night. read more

My grandson and I show up at 4:40 to bowl a quick game before dinner. The place is EMPTY! There is one family in lanes one and two. "We're full", I'm told. I thought she was joking. She told me the lanes had been prepped for leagues and they didn't let anyone on after that. When does league play begin? 6:20! So for an hour and forty minutes the lanes will sit empty and you will chase customers away. Ridiculous. read more

Anytime I asked for help, with bumpers or the fact that her ball got stuck in The gutter, because the bumpers were broken. They just stand around chatting and eating. I rate KC Bowling a 1 star due to the staff. I called to make sure there was a lane open. The person I spoke with said yes and would hold it for me. I arrived 5 minutes later only to find out there were no lanes open. The lane I put on hold was given to someone else. Given it's location and outward appearance, you might expect it to be run down but it's actually pretty nice inside. I particularly like the fact that you can program the bumpers to go up and down depending on who is bowling. There's many good sides to the alley, but there's a ton of bad sides For starters, make sure you clear out any concerns with the staff because sometimes they can deceit you. I went bowling two months ago with a couple of friends, and they told me that we (together) would just need to pay a couple dollars to play a round of games. (Note, this was my first time playing at KC Bowl). So of course, we played a couple games, but when we got the bill, we had to pay 5 times the amount that the guy told us! I talked to a different staff member, and she told me that we EACH had to pay a couple dollars. That really ticked me off. NOTE TO THE STAFF: BE SPECIFIC ABOUT PRICING!!! And make it official on your sign. Speaking about the staff, I believe they all need an attitude adjustment. Whatever happened to "service with a smile"? It's either I came on a bad day for them, or that's how they naturally are. Anyway, when I was asking questions on shoe rentals, the score board, and some other things, a man in the office place (that was behind the counter and the door was open) was making rude remarks about us. Like, be mature, dude! If you want respect, you gotta give respect! Other than the crummy service, the bowling alley was nice and newly decorated. Bowling was fun to play and the time was memorable with friends. The fries are the #1 best item there (dip hot fries in ranch and you have yourself a tasty snack!). First off: I brought in a soda (not knowing outside food/drinks are not allowed) and the man points to the sign like I'm a child, instead letting me know they aren't allowed like a normal human. Second, they said we could only play for 30 mins because the leagues will be playing. (They didn't show up so we played until we were tired). Third, on a different occasion we wanted to bowl again. It was 2030 on a weekend and they said they were closed. Google said they were open until 2200!! I hope they go bankrupt so someone else could buy the place and make for better business. This place is for you IF! you like cheap bowling (cash only I believe, $1 shoes, $2.25 a game per person), not so great customer service, very few lanes.. about 15 bowling lanes and NO MUSIC. My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday night. It was the closest bowling alley to Lemoore. The drive was a little scary since it was dark and the streets were pretty empty... I felt like I was in a horror movie lol. But when we arrived, the first thing I noticed were the bowling lanes. I was surprised they had so little compared to other alleys I've been to. My first disappointment was that there was no music playing.... How can you not have any music??? It was just weird since you can hear everybody's conversations. Then there was a waiting list to bowl. Clearly there were at least 10 lanes available. So we just sat there wondering, what in the world?? We figured there was some tournament going on. We waited for about 15-20 mins until a staff member called us up. The person said "$2" collected our money, gave us the shoe rentals and quickly went back to chit-chatting with some other folks on the side. Didn't even explain anything but at that time it didn't bother me because I was ready to bowl :) their selection of bowling balls weren't that great either. They were pretty beat up. After one game, we wanted to play another round. Here's when I started to get annoyed because of their lack of ability to fully inform. My bf didn't have cash on him so I gave him 2 bucks (which was what I thought we paid for earlier) to get us another game. He was in line for about 10mins while I waited at our lane. The staff then said "$2.25". So he came back asking for a quarter. He waited in line again. At this point I was getting a little impatient because there was A LOT of people waiting for lanes and I felt bad for holding up. Then the staff person said, "It's $2.25 per person" ...
